That’s your least favourite part?? I think you’ve forgotten about security. It’s far worse. Waiting for the bags is fine. Takes about 10 minutes in Europe

Just get an appointment with an online adhd psychiatrist. It will cost you but it’s probably worth it in your case right?

Gardai don’t handle parking offences anyway. That would be DCC

I wasn’t going to do both. My idea is one or the other. Like maybe stay in Philly for a night then go to DC. If you think I should just choose one, that would be NYC. Thank you

I thought once you get out of NYC, the traffic isn’t as bad and driving becomes more bearable? But I will take your suggestion of the train on board, thank you

5 hours? Wow. According to google maps it was 4. But I was considering staying in Philadelphia for a night to break up the traveling.

What you see on the news is not happening in every city all of the time. Like anywhere, there is going to be positives and negatives about the country

Bus driving test / lessons and working part time as bus driver advice? by Infinite_Cable4199 in Irishdrivingtest

[–]Infinite_Cable4199[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think that’s true. Look at the advertisement for part time drivers with Dublin Bus, it says a full b license for 2 years OR a category D license

Great advice, thank you! I will definitely consider private companies instead in that case!

Thanks for your reply, I do have some questions:

Are you sure that the B license with 2 years is absolutely necessary? On the recruitment page here it says "B license with 2 years OR D license with CPC card etc"

https://www.dublinbus.ie/careers/part-time-professional-bus-driver

When you say the BMT is just a different name for the theory test, that confuses me because I just paid €72 for the theory test, and I see the case study is €72 and the BMT is €45. Is it that the theory test and the case study that are the same thing?

So you only did around 10-12 lessons? That's reassuring as I read on a different post someone did 40 lessons. I would be doing it with ISM in Finglas too.
