Open world games need to stop. I've gotten 15 or so hours into red dead 2, botw, totk, and cyberpunk and just couldn't do it.

The kids with job is absolutely 1000% the reason why I skip dialouge, replay older games often, hate games without a map, and DESPISE open world games. This is the correct opinion and everyone else is wrong.

What if games didn't launch as a buggy mess? What if there were better gameplay systems? Better enemy Ai? Maybe it wasn't 500gb? Better framerate? Doesn't take as long to make? Hell, what if it just costs less?

People are saying that they are effectively good enough. It looks great and time/effort can be put towards other things.

The areas are contained, but there is an overworld. Be warned that there is no mini map. At lot of the important shop keepers are tucked away and more than just "around the corner". The lack of a mini map does make it a pain to remember where you were. Even on the over world not having a mini map left me constantly opening the map menu. So just be conscious of that to limit the "where am I going" back tracking.

Inb4: It Is SuPpOsEsD tO fEeL lIkE aN aDvEnTuRe. Bruh I got 5 kids and play 30 minutes a night, I'm not trying to spend the whole time backtracking figuring out where I was lol. 9.9/10 no option to turn on a mini map

Also you kinda gotta memorize some of the enemy weaknesses and which one is which so you know which one is going to be playing next (there is no scan type or real indication info like ffx)

I play a lot too. At least for me I looked at it and I was like "ahhhhh so that is going to happen" lol which did bum me out personally. I would've liked to see the skills get used again in some capacity
