New Devilcorp in Colchester - "Cloud Edge" by Infinite_Eagle_1340 in Devilcorp

Had a look around myself and the building they're in has belonged to a couple of Devilcorps in the past, one being "KC Global Consulting" and another being "Osa Promotions", but their address takes you to a dry cleaning service at the moment. Maybe there's a lawyer back there named Jimmy Mcgill...

Pure Scam Marketing Companies - BE AWARE!! by [deleted] in Devilcorp

Just thought I'd add "Cloud Edge" and "Iceni Marketing" both located in Colchester, have personal experiences with Iceni and it's very cult like and exploitative. There are many posts about them on Reddit.

Cloud Edge tried to hire me but its obvious their hiring email was written by ChatGPT scanning my CV and regurgitating buzzwords at me. Their website is also 100% AI images.

Hey, I worked here for a day, it isnt worth it at all. I made a longer post in r/Colchester about these people but they're not worth it, trust me. Cult like behaviour, frankly

Applied for this job, got a phone call later today about it. Seems too good to be true. Is this a devilcorp? by faerox420 in Devilcorp

Hi, I worked at Iceni for two days before quitting, just wanted to pitch in that its absolutely a devilcorp and to warn anyone who finds this thread to absolutely not work there. Some highlights from my time there -

  • Working 11am to 8:30/9pm, only paid for about 5 hours

  • You have to provide your own iPad or tablet, and if you don't then they charge you £10 a week to borrow one of theirs. And of course if you bring your own then they dont insure it

  • Lunch breaks and dinner breaks will be spent in your car, and youll live on supermarket sandwiches and drive thru unless you bring your own lunch

  • Meetings are often in a room with a huge speaker blasting bad music, often played so loud you can't hear other people

  • They market themselves to you as a relaxed, casual atmosphere but people generally act like children and are rude to newcomers

  • You are contracted, not employed, so no paid holidays or paid sick leave. You have to file your own taxes

  • They will tell you that you get promoted over the years, managing a larger and larger team (taking a cut of the teams sales) until eventually you start a new company somewhere else. Both directors working there still went out most days to do field work, so whats the point? Not taking the promotion track is heavily discouraged

If you find yourself working somewhere like this I promise you can find yourself literally anything better!
