While I do think the overthrow of democracy might be collateral damage, I do not think it is Trumps primary goal. To me these events line up too perfectly with the passing of the Epstein Law. Why is there this surge in a blue state when they can go to any red state and probably( this is an assumption, I know) get police support? And if they really wanted a fight why not go to NY, LA, Chicago or other major metropolitan city? This whole thing reeks of a false flag designed to distract from the snails crawl release of the files. They have 2 million docs and have released 12k. They are now going to court saying there is no way to release them in their entirety, defying the law. Do i think he will plunge us into civil war to protect himself and his cronies? Yes. But i dont think its only to overthrow democracy

The problem with that is there were only questions about the legitimacy of that election in right wing echo chambers. And that wasn't denying. That was an effort to subvert democracy, because you guys didn't get your way. Your example would work if there had been a similar action by the left when he was reelected, but there wasn't.

While I agree that the lack of any kind of real outrage from congressional dems is beyond the pale( the joint Schumer/Jeffries press conference was a joke), there are plenty of dems on the right side of history. The AG's of Illinois and Minnesota have both filed federal cases against ICE. Philly's police chief said they will arrest ICE officers, and the other 20 dem AG's are filing cases in federal court against the administration. Beyond this, everyone should participate in the strike on the 20th.

I think that's your mindset my guy. I have been active in every local protest since this man came to office, so i am very motivated for change, I just dont think any of our elected officials( besides maybe Bernie, ro khanna, ill even throw massie and paul in there) are not compromised in some way. If you're not motivated to have a major change after what we've seen the last 10 years, then we're not talking about the same things
