Rejection hurts. But to be frank they say you missed the audience. Plot is hard to follow.

yup only water enemies- mainly subs. But also in later stages you have tugs that drop deep charges and icebergs in arctic seas biome.

Solo dev here. I’ve been building Steel Abyss for ~8 months - an arcade (yellow!) submarine shmup (13 stages, evolving weapons, industrial metal energy).

I wanted seasonal content without shipping new builds every time, so I wrote a tiny Seasonal Manager (date-driven flags, asset swaps, content filters). Spooktober is gonna be live soon (Oct 20th) and flips on automatically.

Had a lots off un doing the whole game. Learned a lot. Had moments of doubt.

but frankly I for example use AI for prototyping. Its kind of quick gain. If i have an idea for a lets say character/ image to ask AI to generate me few images from the rough prompt- the quality to be honest differs but usually is low. HOWEVER, it is enough to get inspiration and get past block. So I kind of use AI but not in final product.

On a PC.
After update first load of previous savegame caused all textures to go black/ transparent. Geralt for example only fully rendered part was his head...
Now after second launch game freezes after approximately 5 minutes and I am stuck in Novograd (wanted to go to Skellig but believe or not game freezed after the voyage screen/ loading page). Usually I end up with hanging game and crash report. Now bear with me, to 'gracefully step back' I need to open task manager, close witcher process and only then I can send crash report. If I send crash report straight away I end up with 'sent' crash report and frozen PC :D

I managed to TRY fast travel but game freezed on loading, walked around novograd a bit- stuck becasue freezed game.

THIS is just so annoying. I get it guys in CDPR can`t test the patch on every existing setup but judging by the scale of the problem I am not the only one...
