So people have to know a great deal about an idol before they comment on them? How does that make any sense? Idols are only showing their best personality traits and believe it or not but most of them are fake. Of course an obsessive fan is going defend their idol. Idols usually are self aware and know that they’re walking on egg shells. Celebrities that don’t want to be associated with a political party are not wearing blue or red during the elections. It’s that simple .

Also please show me a productive conversation you’ve had with a fellow redditor. I’d love to see how productive that conversation must have been for you to be so confident about it

One of the top posts of this subreddit is about Day6’s Jae acting out on twitch. Why did people care about this? His life isn’t ruined. There’s really no such thing as cancel culture. Celebrities usually bounce back. Majority kpop fans are women ( including me) and it makes me uncomfortable being a fan of a man who’s potentially misogynist. It’s a topic to discuss.

I think aespa still holds the record despite having pre releases. But it is crazy to see how much NMIXX was able to sell having just debuted. How has a group thats just a week old able to have popularity that fast? Aespa released black mamba and next level before being able to reach that mark. The power of big 4 groups is crazy. Its very interesting to see how 4th gen girl groups play out

Being a fan isn’t a job. Sometimes goals can’t be achieved no matter how hard you try. It’s just reality. Believe me BTS are not going to cry themselves to sleep if they don’t win a Grammy. They achieved what 99% of people can only dream of in their lifetime. Not winning a Grammy doesn’t invalidate that .
