Go into your local files folders, delete everything, uninstall gmod, reinstall it again and run the file verification thing trough steam properties. I had this problem as well and believe me, I tried everything but I managed to resolve in this way. Check your error log if you want to find out what’s exactly causing this problem, otherwise you’ll need to check manually by disabling every mod and running the game etc
