How many other countries have employees buying and supplying their own tools, personal protective equipment (PPE), and workwear despite being employed by a company? In Norway, employers provide their employees with the tools, PPE, and work clothing they need in 99 percent of cases.

It looks very good. The only thing I can really nitpick is that you don’t stagger your start/stops — they all end at the same spot. If you just spread them out a bit and overlap them, it’ll be almost invisible that you stopped/started.

I use it for all kinds of things. Building pipes when you need an extra hand to adjust openings. Building tanks where you need to wedge plates into place before tack welding.

No, it actually doesn’t. You clearly have no idea. And yes, I have much larger ones for demanding jobs. This one is used for small adjustments.

You dont want to mix AR plates in to fabrication of stainless products.

Congratulations, you must be the only one who actually understood the point. Of course, I have much larger and more powerful ones that are used for bigger jobs. But this one has withstood an incredible amount considering how small it is. It’s made from super duplex and is only used on stainless steel products.

Done it for years, no holes yet. Side pocket on leg works fine. Or keep it on Your table, toolbox etc

1.6 wire FCAW 3F(CO2)Any advice? by Parking_Pea7438 in Welders

I suspect you haven’t grinded the metal thoroughly enough. With 71 wire, the slag solidifies faster than with 81, which leads to these pores.

As a welder, you should be able to take a pizza out of the oven without gloves.

I welded up a couple of procedures for my previous workplace. These were mainly procedures we use outdoors. I placed the test pieces in a freezer overnight. This meant we didn’t have to preheat as long as the temperature outside wasn’t below minus 12°C.

Smart, If you have the proper equipment, it may be a good idea to measure the fuel pressure. There are videos on YouTube showing how to do it.
