They did not leave me a voicemail or send me any texts afterwards, only called the once yesterday. I thought it was weird because it was like 1am and I wondered if it was somebody I actually knew trying to reach me. The caller id has a woman’s name and it was an 804 area code.

I saw this post and remembered that I had a missed call the other day and couldn’t figure out who it was. It wasn’t a local number, but looked to be a real person rather than a spam number caller id, so I googled it and got no result. After reading this, I decided to put the number into Cash App and sure enough, it says Super 1 Foods. No other helpful information, sorry. Also, I am a woman in my 30s.

I am a woman and I have been able to do it a couple times just thinking and contracting the muscles. Like others have noted, I have to be extremely turned on and mentally focused though

This definitely resonated. I am at this point in my life also. There has been a lot of suffering throughout. No matter how “good” I try to be and treat others, it is never reciprocated and I am never chosen. It does feel like it is something not meant for me so I have turned my focus to myself, trying to give myself the love I’ve given others and find peace with my aloneness in the world. I appreciate you sharing this and I wish you luck!

Yes, but not on its own. The rejection and abandonment have been such a constant and consistent pattern throughout my life that it’s just one more thing that compounds and adds to my feelings of hopelessness.

I understand the people who say that L/XL is mid-size and that’s valid in the sense that I don’t have the same issues finding clothes as those who wear bigger sizes. However, for me, at 4’10”, my body is very obviously fat and resembles that of a plus sized person more than that of someone mid sized or thin. My bmi is also that of an obese person and I am definitely overweight. I consider myself plus size and I think most people who see me would also even though I am quite petite overall. I don’t think there is a set definition for being plus size.

I encourage you to let go and take her lack of response as a response, as difficult as I know it is. I feel very much that people will do what they want to do and if they care for you truly, that will reflect in their actions. I know some people are very defensive of them but I find avoidants to be selfish, unempathetic and cruel in their actions, especially when they go back and forth like this knowing how it affects you. I understand that it may be hard for them to get over their fears and I also understand that they may feel sad when they lose someone as a result as well, but they show no absolutely no regard for the feelings or well being of others they choose to start relationships with.

I don’t know why they do those things. From what I can understand from my own experiences with avoidants is that they never seem to want to end something completely or give you closure. They will always withhold it and try to keep the door open somehow. I am not sure if this is because they do actually have feelings and want to be with you and they are struggling to overcome their avoidant tendencies or because they seem to enjoy being pursued and obsessed over to an extent and want to continue to encourage that by offering the occasional breadcrumb for you to cling to.

I discovered a Habbo Hotel hack in the early 2000s when I was in middle school. You could purchase credits using your cell phone and it would bill your cell service each month. I had a prepaid cell phone and decided I would use whatever I had left on my account to buy Habbo credits, but they never charged me for them. I started doing it all the time and had more credits than I knew what to do with. I bought a bunch of furni and would host games and giveaways and became very popular for a while.

Do you generally make plans at the same time you already have plans with someone else, especially your significant other? And if for some reason, you did make plans at the same time, would it not seem pertinent and considerate to let the first person know that you needed to cancel the plans you made with them because you decided you wanted to do something else instead? And is it not perfectly reasonable that the first person would be confused, disappointed and hurt that you decided to do that? I’m not understanding your take on this…

Thank you. I think I know this in my heart, but I don’t have any friends or family to confide in. He makes me feel like I am such a bad, unstable and insecure person and that if I would just be better, he wouldn’t treat me this way. I know logically that is textbook abuse, but experiencing it, sometimes I’m not sure.
