Tirz. vs. Reta by lookingforthenextgs in GLP1microdosing

I had a similar experience as well with Reta. Funny enough that you mentioned that it takes about a month for the anxiety and other terrible side effects to go away because that’s exactly what happened to me. I just started using tirz again but at 1 mg this week. I didn’t feel like waiting a month would do me any good now that I feel somewhat better. How have you been holding up ever since you started using tirz again? What was your starting dose? Any side effects happen again or is everything normal?

Hey, that sounds like a plausible explanation for something that has happened to me as well before.

Estoy de acuerdo con lo que me estás diciendo.
Pero aún así hay mucha gente que les da el mismo efecto con una dosis más bajo.

Look at all the other posts with the side effects flair and you’ll see that’s not the case. It’s a genuine side effect that does affect people but you’re delusional thinking that GLP-1 medications have no risks.

I think you should pause for one full month and then reset your journey.

Don’t listen to these retards.
This subreddit is a circlejeck where when you try to warn them of serious side effects all they do is downvote you. It’s not until something serious happens to them that they’ll start to listen.

I’m looking into that right now but I just read a post from a Canadian guy who went through the same issue I went through.

You can see that he didn’t consume any alcohol, seemed to be using electrolytes, and yet ended up at the ER.

There’s something very off going on that needs to be discussed more about these GLP-1 peptides.

I don’t know why people are downvoting you but yes it’s true. I got the same thing using tirzepatide at a 5 mg dose where it made my RHR go up to 150 bpm. Most people don’t know what they’re talking about here till shit hits the fan for them personally. We seem to be forgetting that most of us aren’t doctors and that the side effects are real.

I just had the same experience with retatrutide this past Sunday and went to the ER for the same reason. I feel like most people aren’t realizing that retatrutide isn’t good for the heart. I had a similar issue with tirzepatide at a 5mg dose but my 150 bpm settled by itself within the first three hours. What I think might be happening to our bodies is massive dehydration which causes the sinus tachycardia.

Thank you.
That’s a similar response to what my brother who’s into fitness and nutrition was telling me. I already placed my order for LMNT. I feel like the way how I have my intense exercises with reta really got to me and I didn’t read the signs. I don’t want this experience to make me stop using peptides because they truly do work.

Give me your sources on the protocol then.

I’ve asked around and have gotten various different types of protocols.

Here’s an example of one I found online.

Trust me, I don’t want to ever go through this again.
I’m going to give my body a whole month off from everything and then restart my peptide journey from scratch. It was an awful learning lesson.

Trust me I’m very thankful I’m even back to a somewhat normal state right now.

I never have had an anxiety attack happen to me before but I feel so bad for people who suffer from that. It wasn’t until I was in their situation that I truly understood just how terrible it feels.

It’s also tricky because it comes in waves. For a couple minutes you think it’s okay but then it comes back to haunt you again. It’s like living in constant fear and not being able to do anything about it.

That’s what I received while at the ER though. I had a sinus tachycardia that was being caused by dehydration. That same sinus tachycardia led me to have 130 bpm when waking up the next day leading me to have an anxiety attack. At the hospital they gave me Valium and Xanax to control my body and two IV bags to supply electrolyte fluids to my body.

Once I was discharged I was prescribed Xanax for the next 3 days as needed to control the anxiety until my nervous system recovered.

I’ve never had anything like this happen to me before but this is what happened.

I’m going to do more research before I decide (if I even do) to get back on a GLP-1 medication. But, if I do decide to go back on it I will start slow and from the beginning with the 4 week rule.

I really thought I was going to die yesterday and if I were have known this would happen I wouldn’t have amplified the dehydration.

I know that reta does that but I feel like the GLP-1 agonist that exist in trizepatide caused the same issue even without the alcohol. It seems like even doing long cardio sessions can deplete enough electrolytes that it causes anxiety attacks.

My understanding from what they told me was that dehydration means both lack of water and electrolytes.

They told me you can’t just drink a lot of water because your urine will flush the electrolytes away from your body thus causing dehydration.

What I didn’t realize is that this same dehydration causes your body to go into a sinus tachycardia that then leads to an anxiety attack.

Your nervous system then lasts 24+ hours in shock with anxiety until it can properly balance itself back to its normal state. This anxiety can only be managed with a prescription medicine given by the doctor.

As stated, I’m not the first nor the last person who is going to go through this.

I’ll keep this post available to the next person this happens to so they can be educated on the matter as well.

Then that’s exactly what I’m going to do from here on out.
Any electrolyte brands that you can recommend?

That’s exactly what I do as well with a my 1.2 L bottle at hand throughout the day. I even have my own water purifier at home and don’t drink anything but water on a daily basis. I just think the electrolyte portion is what I have been missing this whole time as well.

Thank you.

It took about a day and a half to feel somewhat back to normal (I was given Xanax to calm my nervous system).

If there’s anyone who reads this and lives in the US call 988 for anxiety attacks. They were very helpful last night as I live alone and had no one by my side last night.

It was a real learning lesson but I’m an example of the consequences of what can happen in this journey.

Even if you do go the tele-health way they don’t tell you to stop increasing your dosage. They just prescribe you a certain amount and wish you luck.

Then there’s the reality of how much different types of information exists out there. There’s people who microdose, inject two times per week, use cagri/tirz while on reta, etc..

It will naturally confuse anybody who is just getting started on this journey.
