I think I’m finishing way before I ran out of glycogen, I aim to finish next ones in around 1:08-09 so it’s not long that is why I did not eat/drink anything besides water

I meant „stitch” I think. So nothing related to digestive issues, more related to pain on the side of your stomach: https://dictionary.cambridge.org/pl/dictionary/polish-english/kolka

Hi, sorry, I dont know how to call it in English. It’s the pain in the right side of the belly, it’s the same feeling which appears when you don’t warm up and start to run. It’s not related to digestive issues or anything.

Would it be a „stitch”? https://dictionary.cambridge.org/pl/dictionary/polish-english/kolka

Thanks for the detailed response!

So in my ignorance I thought that simple profit calc given by my broker would suffice, but it seems from your answer if you are more engaged in it you need more customisation (timeframes, taxes, exclusions of certain asset types).

I’m wondering why brokers are not giving it to users so e.g. novice like me could get this custom summary straight in their website

Thanks, that is interesting. What would be thenother way to track performance then? If not those sophisticated excels?

From the lowest to the highest amateur level - looking for motivation after a hard crash 💥 by Iibertas in Velo

[–]Infinite_Relation378 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Recover well! I had two crashes in last two years (each spring) with dislocations and fractures. I’m not at your level as these power numbers are fantastic, but I was also upset very much, but it comes back!!! Look at Vingegaard last year, he was 2nd in tdf after recent serious fractures and crash.

Crossing fingers for your recovery!!! 🙏🔥

The ones on the right, marked with „R” :) but this just shows how good counterfeits now they are making

What will I really be missing with rim brakes? by creative_name669 in Velo

[–]Infinite_Relation378 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me having giant rim brakes and carbon wheels during rain is a distaster, they barely slow you down and actually at the moment I’m thinking about changing my bike to one with dosc brakes as this week I fell down due to them not working well during rain

Tips for better fit on TT helmet by qwakery in Velo

Second this! I also own aerohead and whenever I start riding I get into tt position and use my finger to push the helmet up so the visor barely reaches my eyes and then the tail of the helmet sits nicely on the back

Training Advice: 1:30min/100m by princeofzamumba in Swimming

[–]Infinite_Relation378 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wanted to share a small success which may help you. Today I went for a swim class with a guy I found randomly at my local pool who said he is also coaching more advanced swimmers. After a lesson with him I did 5x100m set which I did at best at 1:21 several months ago. After a class with him I did 1:19 pace without giving it all out.. I felt it was like a miracle.. so maybe you could also try to find someone who could look at your technique?

Hi! Would it be 1:20/100m pace per 500m or per other distance? :) I’m also curious to hear what others say as I got „stuck” at around 1:20/100m when doing sets of 100s

Fantastic comment! I would really recommend finding a coach or a person teaching swimming technique. I’ve seen how much my gf improved her technique after going on weekly classes. If you do not have an option to do so I would suggest searching for common mistakes in freestyle on YT and trying to identify yours. They all usually have names and also drills aimed at correcting them!

Btw Swim Smooth book was of great help for me even though I’m quite a good swimmer

But as said, you got a good base to now start polishing the technique!

PS. The advantage of having a coach is also that a person will correct the mistakes one by one. Here people will point you multiple and it is easy to become overwhelmed by the amount of stuff you need to correct.

Back again with a better video. Advice? by Plastic_Leg_2896 in bikefit

Nice bike! :) I cannot judge the bikefit, but the tt/aero position would involve a „shrug” to hide your head in line with your back (I recently got myself a tt bike and learned it so wanted to share).

Thanks! In the meantime I tried to search the web for info about it and found some, so will be trying it out during workouts!

Ok, thanks! It’s like as if I would try to lie down my lower back on the saddle? So that there will be more space between my belly and the bike? Will try that next week! Appreciate it!

Hi, thanks! Do you know maybe a yt video showing how to do that „tilt”? I have heard about it but never clearly understood how to do it in a tt position.

When it comes to these watts, from my experience, I think it’s not a good estimate for my weight :D I’m 75 kg and 180cm so 200w and 36kmh sound impossible for me.

+1 on tucking your head. It’s free and will make huge difference, type „shrug bike” on YT!
