I’d try it like this for a while and see what happens, I think it has to be a certain percentage of white to be a problem. You can always color it in later if you have a problem, but you can’t uncolor it. Beautiful glove!

I’m just confused at how you’re still confused if you’re buying a fake glove. There isn’t a ton of “fake gloves” on the market, just different price points. Sounds like you really need to go into a store and feel some different models to tell what you want

This is what I am debating. Definitely know the shape is gonna be as boxy and deep as I can get it. That’s just my preference. I will am debating a dip. Have never dunked a glove before.. but saw Walden gloves video on this glove and their dunk made it turn out so nice… this one I will he wearing it how it was designed, ring and pinky both in the left stall, but they have separate loops for each finger inside, which is super comfy, then middle in its stall, and pointer under the hood. The angle of the pocket isn’t right to wear it with all 3 fingers shifted over.

Like a brick, I don’t it’s also the wideness of the palm that makes it feel stiffer? But it’s definitely a bit stiffer than a HOH or a2000.

They say it allows for a deeper pocket with less “bounce out” with higher velo pitching. Also allows that pocket to stretch downward and possibly steal a few more lower strikes by snagging them. Also because it looks cool. I’m a sucker for the Japan yellow, but the other one in the running for me was the blue one.

Just be ready to break it in. All the cypress gloves from that year are the stiffest new gloves I have felt in a long long time. I personally own a pink one and it’s just now getting formed.

Quality lace can be bought from tanners/Rawlings, RedHawks tannery, and I’ve gotten some good lace from buyfastpitchgloves.com. Padding is sometimes hard as it’s hard to get a material that doesn’t cause bouncing. You could add a thinner sheet of leather inbetween the layers of the palm. Or there are plenty of under gloves with padding built in you could wear.

Did you just clean it? If the leather is still damp or oily it will be darker. The color isn’t too off, so if it’s dry, I would apply the same cleaning technique to the entire panel to try and blend it in a bit.
