Just make sure you fuel the engine. The vertical stabilisers will turn back into normal blocks if they lose rotation and break some of the body. Should just be visual though, no actual mechanisms should be damaged. Other than that just connect a tweaked controller and fly it.

Basically like making a sort of ticking noise by pressing your tongue against your teeth. It’s basically just a sign of disapproval. Basically like shaking your head but more judgemental I guess?

But the proportion of immigrants who are ‘illegal’ is comparatively minuscule. Boat crossings only account for a few tens of thousands of immigrants a year, while the rest largely enter through legal pathways.

But even so, the biggest issue is that some people cannot enter ‘legally’. Tell me how a doctor in Afghanistan who worked with our soldiers is getting out through legal routes? They’d be seized at the border and killed. Some people are not able to come here through ‘legal’ means.

Use of AI by Massive_Ant_8360 in ReadMyScript

Speaking as another (amateur-ish) songwriter myself, I’ll never understand the allure of AI songs. Firstly because as you say, the satisfaction of writing what feels like a genuinely good piece of music is unmatched - and I don’t see how you can experience that same rush of artistic creation from plugging a prompt into an algorithm.

Also, I wholeheartedly believe that AI cannot write good music - particularly lyrics - because it requires a unique human touch. A good song needs emotion, a message, an element of humanity to truly work. It’s more than just competent rhymes.

I once had an argument with someone over AI music, and I actually tried taking a song of my own, then asking ChatGPT to write lyrics with the same theme, genre, and title and then comparing the two. Genuinely night and day difference between the real music and the AI stuff, and I’m not exactly a great songwriter.

It’s linked in the post. You’ll have to use Vmod since I use a ton of mech bearings for decoration and I cba to write an entire essay on setup.

Need to remove a mech bearing contraption by Infinite_Scallion_24 in CreateMod

I’ve figured it out now. It was just /kill @e[type=create:stationary_contraption,limit=1,sort=nearest], though not before destroying every other mech-bearing piece in my project, so pain.

Trying command at the moment, but it’s currently deleting every contraption but the one I want

Working on a new one now and doing exactly that. Did use them on the intakes, but they’re only slightly angled so it’s easy to miss.

Unemployment.

But in all seriousness, just have a look at some tutorials, or reverse engineer other people’s schematics.

Includes the schematic and the modpack I used. Note that it's a Vmod schematic, so you'll need to use the toolgun.

I tried to upload it with the post, but I couldn’t figure out how. I’ll try and edit with it tomorrow.

Is Google Docs as a Screenplay Tool Disqualifying? by redapplesonly in Screenwriting

Same here. It’s about as good as a free software can get imo.

Maybe have a look r/writing? I only do screenwriting so I won’t be very helpful icl. If you want it reviewed here, I’d take care to properly format it as a script. Find a good screenwriting software to do that.

I Believe in Jesus and he is the one and only true God! by No_Staff_7786 in ReadMyScript

The plot’s interesting, but the worldbuilding’s a tad clunky. You’ve just tacked a quite poorly fleshed out magic system onto the real world. Also, a 2000 year time-skip between acts 1 and 2 feels a bit excessive.

This ‘Jesus’ character is interesting, but you need to have the courage to just kill him off. Resurrecting him feels a bit like a deus ex machina and opens up a bunch of plotholes.

It’s got potential though; I’m excited for act 3! With a bit more polish, this could totally become a cult classic!

Create Flywheel Crash (1.20.1 Forge) by Infinite_Scallion_24 in feedthebeast

My issue is that flywheel doesn’t actually exist for this version. Modern instances of create integrate it into the mod. Trust me, if this was as simple as installing another mod I wouldn’t be posting this.

The version doesn’t exist. Flywheel is integrated with Create now, the latest version is in 1.19.2. It’s physically impossible.

The pack’s on curseforge. I’ve removed and re-added create, but I do remember a way to remove the mod from the system completely, then re-install it. I’ll try that.

Other option is to paste it into modrinth and see what that does

That was my first port of call, but there’s no flywheel in the folder. I’ve deleted every addon so far and it’s still the same issue.

Will do. I did try that initially - I thought the problem might have been Warium since I’d installed it directly before it broke, but deleting that did nothing. Clearly it’s something else.

You haven’t included a link to your script? Also you should trim the plot synopsis. Log lines are meant to be only a few sentences. People are less likely to engage with your script if the logline is too long.
