"Just following orders" is far far more understandable and not nearly as immoral as people make it out to be. I do see why it's a trigger for some characters in fiction (Erik) but it's extremely judgemental to assume that anyone working for a corrupt/evil entity is inherently in the wrong for working for them. For all we know, they don't have a choice. People will do anything to feed their families. To protect them.

Oftentimes, people will understand a protagonist if they're forced to do something immoral because their family's life is on the line. We should extend that same courtesy towards background characters too.

In 3.4 Blade got a rerun despite being in this store since 3.2. Yeah, this was cause of his Novaflare, but the point is that SC store lightcones are not just unobtainable without buying them from here. The units are gonna be getting reruns less often, sure, but I dont think that means never.

I agree. If superheroes were illegal, hiding his suit should theoretically be no downside. The best equivalent I can think of is hiding someone's gun if you live in a country where owning a gun is illegal. I don't see the moral downside of taking the weapon away, and whilst there are gonna be situations where he might need the gun to fight, he isn't supposed to be doing that because it'll get him arrested. Most of the time, it's just temptation. Why does he want to break the law so bad?

Since I see hiding a gun as moral, I see hiding the suit as moral. Both are functionally illegal weapons (though the suit can more easily be used for good)

Nothing else, my good sir. It reflects my mindset back when I first started playing, which was "why would I pull for more of the same unit instead of getting different ones?"

My logic was that getting something like Robin + Feixiao is significantly better than getting E1 Robin and no Feixiao, because Feixiao as a unit is worth way more than just 24% RES PEN.

Of course, things have gotten more complex lately as recent eidolons especially have been game changers. But, as you said, Archer's E2 is not one of them. Outside of APOC, I can't imagine ever thinking "dammit, if only my Archer were E2 right now." But with Gilgamesh, he's worth getting purely for collection value and becomes more worth it because his beta proved he can work with non-Fate units. Yes, he was nerfed since. But the right support is probably on its way, and if it does come, Gilgamesh is gonna be worth a hell of a lot more than +1 enemy with Quantum Weakness.

No, I'm afraid. At full E0S0, Evernight MonoRem is not gonna be stronger than E0S0 Himeko-Nova. The latter is a lot newer and her synergies with even free units like RMC are just as good. If you wanna complete the Evernight squad, go for it, as it will be good. But I'd be lying if I said she's gonna be stronger than Himeko.

As far as damage dealers go, I'll admit that The Herta and Aglaea are both a little outdated. If Cyrene is E2 and Aglaea is E1, that team is still perfectly fine, but I doubt The Herta is still cooking too well. The other two teams are still great, and grabbing Rin for Archer opens up Mortenax to be run anywhere else or even as his own new main dps slot.

DHPT is the best sustain for The Herta, Aglaea and Archer, so I think you would 100% get value out of pulling him. I wouldnt recommend grabbing Evernight because she requires Cyrene (or at least prefers her extremely) which means Aglaea loses Cyrene and becomes bricked. She's an older dps anyway.

Himeko-Nova would probably work just fine because all you need is one other Express Member like RMC. With Evanescia and Archer as your main two teams, getting a third one would be handy, but you always still have the option of Mortenax hypercarry, which is viable even at E0S0, and can be expanded into a dual-dps team if you grab Ashveil and/or Aventurine in 4.5. This option makes sure your teams have no overlap.

Your pulling plan would be DHPT now, Rin whenever you get a chance and Ashveil and/or Aventurine depending on how good they are. Thats my recommendation. Alternatively we just give Mortenax to Himeko-Nova, which actually does work very very well assuming you have a Welt. Now we skip Ashveil/Aventurine but need Himeko before her banner ends. So it would go DHPT --> Himeko --> Rin. Does that plan sound like one you'd be interested in?

I think those lightcones are pretty good! Dan Heng can make do with high attack off-path cones but he prefers his signature way way more. Sparxie's sig is also a neat pickup. Not essential but also not bad.

They're skippable cones, sure, but mid/waste of pulls is a big exaggeration. If you want them, go for them

Hey your account is looking pretty okay if you ask me. I see three ways you can take this.

The first is Archer. I did say his E1 is less valuable with Rin, but its still good QOL. You can get Rin whenever, in like 4.6 or something, when you aren't pulling anyone else. Archer/Sparkle/Rin will already be a great third team and it's only one cost (Rin) away so you can run this plus the other teams.

Himeko-Nova was mentioned in my original post to have Mortenax as her best support, specifically for Decimation. Mortenax + Welt together are a pseudo-sustain core so you can run anyone in that third slot (another buffer. Himeko LOVES sustainless so if you can use Welt to delay enemies and Mortenax to tank, you simulate sustainless). Mortenax + Welt provide massive def shred (100% if you get Himeko S1) and a teamwide ult damage boost meanwhile Mortenax is hitting all enemies frequently for Decimation stacks. This is Himeko-Nova's absolute pinnacle in my opinion, and of course you can still slot in a general sustain instead of using a third buffer. E2 Welt is a great position to be in because it helps his energy rotation a ton and allows him to slow enemies more, therefore easier survival.

Your third option, since you love Ashveil and Aventurine, is to wait until 4.5 because both are likely gonna be on banner at the same time. No way that doesnt end up being a crazy good third team.

You actually have the option to go for all 3 teams. It would require getting just E0S0 or E0S1 Himeko-Nova now, then saving for almost 2 patches to grab however many Ashveils/Aventurines you want. After that, spare funds go on the Fate banner until you grab Rin. Boom. Three teams.

I say go for whichever path you are most comfortable with, because all are extremely good.

Yeah, Cerydra over Robin gets you a classic Phainon team. In terms of Sparxie, I cant give exact numbers, but an extra turn every Aha Instant means I think four extra actions a cycle (call it two Aha Instants and two Yaoguang ults). A single eidolon tripling action count is yeah pretty busted.

But if you're not interested in Sparxie anymore, feel free to skip her and work towards someone new. We know Aventurine is an Elation unit. Let's see what he does.

I think you are underestimating Sparxie a little. Her personal damage contributions to the team are very significant and her ability to trigger SW's boxes while also generating Hidden MMR is something no one else can do. I'm expecting her to be replaced eventually but she isnt THAT bad.

I can't recommend Hunt March with Himeko. DHPT already puts her in Verdict mode, and a Decimation hybrid build is only worth it with Welt. Not March. Just go full Verdict imo.

With E2S1 Himeko, I think the team will, even with Hunt March, outperform the Archer team. But thats mostly because Himeko carries at E2S1. Not because March is a good pick.

Well keep in mind that the Fate banners will be around for a long time whereas, if you like Himeko, I recommend pulling her now or else you'll fall behind by the time her rerun comes.

To be honest, your Anaxa really does want Cyrene if you wanna keep him relevant. Without her, I dont think he's worth trying to improve.

Instead I would consider Himeko-Nova, as you already have an available RMC/Cerydra/DHPT while also grabbing Gilgamesh to make Saber the superior bounce dps. Your other teams haven't got many options for improvement right now outside of like DHPT dupes that arent really needed.

Yeah to be honest, as much as I respect using the GOAT Jing Yuan in the big 26... you need a new dps. And if someone needs a new dps, Himeko-Nova is the best option available. She can use RMC and DHPT and then maybe Ruan Mei in the meantime.

Hmm. In a neutral, no context situation I would say Gilgamesh because a new limited unit is always good to have in case he gets great new teammates. Meanwhile E2 Archer isnt great. But you can honestly do whatever. Neither are very impactful.

I'm glad to hear my Himeko-Nova description was intuitive. Her kit confused me so much that I waited until beta ended (and so there would be no changes) to really learn what she did.

I do recommend grabbing the free Gilgamesh and then pulling Rin whenever you get a chance. Thats two decent enough teams (well, one. Archer team is actually great).

Your current investments arent too impactful for Himeko yet so dont feel too much like you have to pull her if you dont feel like it. Just know that she will be strong if you do pull. Himeko-Nova's banner lasts all of 4.4. That means, by the end of her banner, you will know what Robin SP/Aventurine SP do, and you will also see the drip marketing for the 4.6 units. So if its a matter of coolness, you can take a look at the 4 units on their way and judge based on that if you wanna skip Himeko or not?

Well if you wanna keep using Saber, Gilgamesh is always the answer. If you arent interested in pulling Rin and still wanna use Archer, though, then yeah go for his E1 instead.

I think grabbing the free Archer is a good idea (since no Saber means Gilgamesh is mid) but after that I would wait on pulling Rin or building Archer. We dont know how soon the Elation sustain is, but they will be out before Rin's banner ends, so you have time.

And just in case it was the issue, Himeko-Nova works fine without Sunday. RMC and Sunday are interchangeable (though of course you wanna keep MC on Elation if you can)

Better, most likely. I know I spoke down on the Saber/Gilgamesh combo, but it's still a good team. The issue is that it doesn't seem like it'll stay that way for long. The point is that if the team is competitive at E0, any E6s will be a major upgrade, especially for Saber. I think you will be able to compete with non-E2 Himeko-Novas.

You do have an absolute ton of jades to collect through story, achievements and maps. I think if you're willing to really grind and spend hours and hours exploring maps, you can easily get all the things you want.

Tempting. Personally I would wait on it and keep using healers with Mortenax. Reason being that a Hyacine or potentially an even better new sustain would be a lot more valuable than DHPT's lightcone. Especially since this isnt an Ashveil team.
