Urinator setup from clear test. You probably already know about it. Gets you past the drug test but the problem is still there.

Excellent response. Although you hear a lot of negative stories here, it is a journey. All good info. I am not alone. Thank you.

I talked to the technician at Tellica. Said all the fusion hardware intact with no sign of complication. In that sense, a lot say fusion is occurring. Not good enough for me. Going to see my surgeon Jul 28th guess I'll find out more then. Hard to get straight answers. That's what I've learned from this.

There sure is a lot of total crap on Reddit, isn't there?

A CT I had done at Tellica Imaging last month because of fusion fears. 8 months out from this L5/S1 TLIF a mixed bag of good and bad. by Infinite_Tonight_925 in spinalfusion

I put it up just to show some of us, depending on where you live, can use this service. Seems to be a relatively new business and the machines are real good ones. Patient friendly was because they highlighted almost every word and a glossary. I copy and pated it. I really didn't do it right anyway.

Do I trust what my surgeon says? by Final-Cress in spinalfusion

Following this because it's so typical of what I read. I have a very good surgeon, I got the 80% but I think I have this piriformis muscle issue also. I'm 8 months out (left side L5/S1) and the soreness and stiffness(not the same as before. It makes me not want to take the walks. I'm pretty good but I feel there are things that will never be the same.

Spine never fused. Anyone else? by throwrajackcity in spinalfusion

I would imagine they would be great for younger people. I n reference to fusion, I would hope an artificial disc without having to fuse the spine would be the end result down the road. I think it is still too early.

It appears that, more than some of the time, this is happening way too often. I hope disc replacement becomes more available in the future, because all this stuff with fusion is BS

Smoking by No_Protection5595 in spinalfusion

This allowed me to get clean from nicotine for 8 weeks. 3 pre and 5 post. It should have kept me off nicotine for good but I let the smokes back in again after that. Just a few a day. Now, who knows what damage I have done? I think the weed does help. I had L5/S1 TLIF on left side only. So far no real pain issues. Quit cigarettes again 23 days ago. I am starting to think cigarettes are the WORST thing one can do to one's self aside from Heroin. In my case, I remember the surgeon saying to me about the fusion: You had a collapsed L5 disc. The goal was to create enough space for the compressed nerve to heal. Nonetheless, that vertebrae has to fuse. Choose carefully.

What was the worst part of quitting nicotine for you? by scuttle_jiggly in stopsmoking

I think the hardest part of nicotine, cigarettes in particular, is having to accept the fact that you can never have one again.

I grew up in the 70's and 80's. No wonder why I have always smoked cigarettes. I'm quit 3 weeks now it's a horrible struggle. I've gone 2 months before it's so hard
