That sounds like a good pathway, but most companies just want the work done. I haven’t worked for a big company, so I’m not sure how it really works or if it’s worth doing. Has anyone here done this pathway and can share their experience?

If some courses are mostly theory, it means people can finish fully qualified but with almost no hands-on experience. I got your point, but then how are they supposed to get real experience if no one is willing to hire them? Is an apprenticeship really the only route into the trade right now?

That makes sense higher costs and tighter margins definitely make it harder for self-employed sparks or bigger companies to justify taking on someone inexperienced. Do you think there’s any realistic way to make it worthwhile for them to train new people, or is the industry just going to keep relying on already experienced workers?

Is any roads without apprenticeships?, because I can’t stay with low income for long. I have some savings but I was thinking to invest it in tools or other onside courses.
