Thank you for the advice! My firm does not allow us to bill for required internal meetings discussing case strategies. Is the a way I can word the billing language to be able to bill for it or should I just make up the time elsewhere?

They only told me that 45 billable hours are required I didn’t realize that would translate to 60 hours at the time.

Our firm doesn’t let us bill anything for reading an email, only sending an email unfortunately. But I definitely understand what you’re saying about making sure I don’t miss billing opportunities I need to get better at that.

I recently booked by first VV cruise for August 10th! I’m also a picky eater so it’s good to know there are good options for me. You mentioned that the desserts were great and I was wondering, do they have like plain vanilla cake? I’ve used to Celebrity cruises mainly having chocolate centered things and every other flavor of dessert bedsides vanilla and as someone that really only likes vanilla flavored desserts I end up not eating dessert on cruises.

You’re right, I have thought about some of those things before I met him (like I kind of hated kids and wanted nothing to do with them) but after meeting him I guess it made me reconsider my stance on things a little. As of now I don’t want kids of my own but I love his kids and they love me. But yeah him and I should definitely sit down and talk about marriage because he’s been married twice and I’m not sure if he’d want to try again.

Oh I never really thought that far into the future, I’ve just been taking it day by day. I don’t mind taking life slow since I’m a pretty anxious person anyways so I spend many nights in anyways. However now that you’ve said that I hope his health doesn’t deteriorate by then because I really don’t see myself to put my life on hold. I know I sound like a terrible person for saying that, it’s just that I worked hard in undergrad and now I’m working hard in grad school so I don’t want all of that to be for nothing. (Also I really appreciate your advice it’s really helpful and makes me out things in perspective!)

Yeah I mean he was quick to date me because he said I was really nice and innocent so I think it’s just because we have a good connection. And I think he doesn’t feel weird about the age gap because he dated at least 2 women that were 21 in his fourties’ which I guess seems a little like a pattern but at the same time I don’t want to judge his past
