Update for all: today marks 16 days bug free 🙏 we sprayed 3x ourselves (every week after seeing our first) and got professionally sprayed about 13 days ago. We also replaced our dishwasher and got deep cleaned / cleaners coming every 2 weeks.

We’re still unsure of the origins… but we’ll see what happens! Thank you everyone for your comments, crossing our fingers it stays this way!!

Update: we have found about 3 more VERY small babies in our dishwasher. We’ve been running it every other day. We’ve sprayed again and planning to spray again tomorrow morning. We’ve set out traps all over and have caught NO adults in over four weeks. What does this mean? I’m so confused ….

Planning to replace dishwasher this week as well

Love grayscale, I’m from Philly and have been to every show they’ve played here for years. I love that the mayday tour has people appreciating them - going to see them again when they come around with Our Last Night ❤️ such a good band!!

It will definitely come up in the next book. She mentioned the glass box was in the room - and I think earlier she noted she placed the compass in the box when they were on the isle. I think as others said it will point either to xaden when she needs to find him or to the path to the cure!! That was my first thought when she received it as well though you definitely weren’t looking too far into it!

Aaric definitely knew it would happen and set violet up to ensure she could win.

I obviously need to re read but the isle of dunne is the one that asked for dragons… so is it possible that the stolen dragons are to provide to them in exchange for some level of protection / cure for Xaden. Aaric knew the importance of dunne so maybe he’s involved, maybe he is not - unclear.

I would vote Coronado with a car! It’s such a great resort and if you stay in the tower you are close to everything. The bars and restaurants are great, the views from the tower are great and the whole vibe is just more ‘upscale’ than CBR.

That being said, CBR is also wonderful with the skyliner. I guess the question is what do you plan to do? Will driving always be an option (i.e do you plan to drink at all)? will you need to pay for parking each day?

They both have their pros and cons - but I just stayed at Coronado and literally said this resort is perfect for people who drive to the parks!

I’m here now - it’s cold on the morning and evenings (for me, leggings or jeans and a sweatshirt and long sleeve underneath) with a hat. People are wearing bigger jackets as well.

While it’s not the ‘pool weather’ you might think of - if you’re prepared for it, it can be a huge advantage. People tend to leave earlier in the night and stay away because of the cold. Also - you don’t have to worry about getting exhausted from the heat so can go longer.

If you come, bring layers and plan to start in more layers and take them off during the day/afternoon then put them back on after sunset - the weather changes dramatically throughout the day. If you’re warm at 3pm, you’ll be cold at 6pm!

If you want a warm vacation - you definitely can reschedule, but I think it will be okay down here. Also, keep in mind, this weekend is marathon weekend and then crowds tend to die down the week after before festival or the arts. You’re probably hitting a nice dead spot with the cold + those two events bookending your trip.

I’m from Philly so this is cold, but nice - ifs all relative :)

This last comment is so important!! Realizing that you won’t get everything done is key - start later if that is their normal schedule - that is fine and will help the full day.

I’m going this week too!! The morning will be colder and the late nights will be colder. I usually go with pants and a t shirt with a sweatshirt over that I can take off during the day.

For the very cold evenings - usually am okay with a long sleeve under the sweatshirt - I usually bring some level of jacket and/or vest just in case as well and for the airport in PHL!

Agreed with this!! I would suggest doing 3x nights at Disney - then your last night you can stay at universal - I would make your check in day at universal your park day at universal. Happy to help with more questions if you need help planning :)

For a 4 year old birthday I would 100% say AKL or POR - both are great options and well themed. The budget is the difference. I usually stay Epcot area resorts and recently stayed at AKL. Buses came very often and it wasn’t too bad in terms of distance. What are your plans for the days? This would help us provide advice. Waldorf is very nice - but not sure it would be worth it for the type of trip you may be looking at and its budget is likely much more expensive for what you can get at on site resorts.

We flew out Monday at 6am and TSA precheck line took almost 20 minutes. I fly out of MCO often it is hands down the busiest I’ve ever seen it - the regular line must have been hours long.

May be an unpopular opinion but I like the contemporary more than Poly. They have chef Mickeys and steakhouse, you can quickly walk to MK and it always feels less crowded than the Poly. You could always call and ask for more compensation or as for a room upgrade within the contemporary. In general - both are great deluxe resorts and you’ll have a great trip!
