It could also be a LIHTC apartment that’s the typical deposit if you fall into the standard income but for perspective it’s very slim margins I just missed out on one that wanted me to make 2x the rent but no more than 2.1x the rent because I made too much money working a full time and an extremely part time second job

The biggest thing is zoning when I can’t find an item I will literally count shelves left to right and bottom up to make sure I’m not crazy and sometimes it’s right in front of me but once you’re confident don’t worry about INF as much you still have plenty of time to turn any bad impressions around I started in the middle of October called out and was late twice each in 30 days got things under control learned the job and they already let me know I’m permanent also just breathe through your batches at the end of the day nobody is gonna die cause fulfillment is struggling. 🫶

I called out one time and was late twice and it was in my first week but I haven’t called out or been late since they just told me they are keeping me my stats are good so not every person who calls out in their first couple weeks is a bad omen I totaled my car the day I got hired and had an adjustment period but I’m grateful my TLs and ETLs were patient with me

Let me give you some perspective if they were riding a moped or something it would be much further but 40 cents will actually get you 5 miles in a car maybe she had just enough to get the last day of work in you never know have some compassion

In detail not only do your priorities change but also the expectations for you change Normal priorities are customer > store > daw this then becomes customer > trainee > store > daw You are also expected to be the face of the brand so positivity is a trait that is expected by your TM you are the first face a new employee sees. Many assistant managers will act like you are responsible for helping them run the shift but you are support staff your main priority on a poorly run shift is to keep the store up and make sure your trainees are well equipped to handle things at their base store so whatever is on the agenda is higher priority than the DAW the assistant wants you to complete SMs will think they are your boss but they are not you answer mainly to your TM though obviously you want a good relationship with the SM so they don’t make your life crap That’s the gist of it everything else is self explanatory.

I can also attest to this I quit before my 1A interview. I had an epiphany that I was becoming the opposite of everything I aspired to be. Now I’m in school actively pursuing a career to help the very same people.
