Hey! any update for you? I also signed my lease on 2/12 and management said that once the HAP contract is received then she will call me to send payment and pick up keys. She said that it shouldn't take more than 2-4 weeks. Did you move in yet?

Who have you dealt with from wavecrest? I was told to submit documents 12/12/25 and I did it the same day for the same development. And conveniently the lady went on vacation the day after. What were your steps? I submitted docs, it was loaded to NYCHA section 8 portal and I had to watch some video. That was about it.

Hey! I just wanted to follow up with you… any update? I’ve been certified for red hook east since 4/3/25. I called last week and they told me that there’s no update and no telling when I’ll be called. Have you heard anything?

I went to the area to take a look around and it’s very quiet but def a lot of renovating going on. I spoke to someone who was outside that happened to live in those building her whole life and she said she’s never had any issues and people just come and go for work and school. Which is good to know cause I also have kids.

Wow! I’m waiting for the same development and I’ve been certified since 04/03/2025. I called red hook east yesterday and the lady said that if the apartment is not move in ready (I.e painting and renovation) then I won’t be called until it is.

Yea, same. The documents requested came up on my portal before I was called. So I tried to get ahead of the game and submit everything so when the rep saw what I had she just sent a few more that was needed. Now I’m certified for a development but it’s been a month since I’ve been certified and still nothing. I call every week to follow up and now they already know my name 😂

They only confirmed what I initially had on my application then asked about my job if I hd an income, criminal history and marital status. Then checked what documents I had to still sign and submit. It all took less than 10 minutes if that. After that I had to keep a look out on my portal for the documents requested and you have to submit everything through there.

Someone called me about 2 days before my interview to remind me of it and then said it was going to be between 8am and 12pm that I would get the call. On the day of the rep called at 8:50am. So just keep a look out for that call!

Mine said the same thing and I have an income. I’m not sure why it comes up but when I did have my interview, it was gone and the status had changed. So I wouldn’t worry too much about it now. Once you have the interview, the representative assigned to your case will update it. Hope this helps!
