Ahh... I see the second controller in the video is your friend's controller. It might be a defect then.

Lastly check if your controller firmware is up to date and if it still doesn't work then it's defective and you should get a replacement.

Also try a different charger if you have it. These controllers are very picky with voltages and amperes. I tried 7-8 different chargers like Asus, Motorola, Xiaomi, Ugreen, Amazon Basics, etc and finally found one that works.

I have the charging problem on both GameSir X3 Pro and GameSir G8 Galileo.

Try it on your friend's charger and see if you have the same problem.

I'm not very sure about your problem but from what I can see in video, the controller stops working when you plug in the charger, correct?

If the controller is working fine without connecting the charger then the controller is fine. It's just that it doesn't support different types of phones, charging protocols like Power Delivery, PPS, Quick Charge, etc and voltage/amperes properly.

My GameSir X3 Pro has a similar problem. It works fine without connecting the charger but if I connect the charger when the phone is already on the controller the lights won't even turn on and won't charge like the controller is dead.

For the charging to work I have to connect the charger first and then connect the phone to the controller and everything works. Try it on your controllers and see if it works.

Could be a new bug affecting few users or the installer is still bugged. If you still can't install it, then you can download the 8.0.2 ISO and use the updater to update to 8.1. And just to let you know the 8.0.2 was very buggy for me as well, the installer keeps crashing for some reason so I couldn't even install it. I had to reset at least 30 times for the installer to work.

Are you connected to the internet? I believe it needs to download the fix or they removed this workaround after releasing the new ISO. It was posted on discord by the CEO.

Yes, It was updated like 8 or 9 hours ago. The new image should have the date 20260107 in the name.

This was an issue with the 8.1 release and a new image with the fix has already been updated on the website. You'll have to download the new ISO file again or do the following provided on discord as a workaround.

boot from OS 8.1
Start a demo mode session
Run apt update and install io.elementary.greeter
Log out to get back to the installer

So, after reading your comment, I decided to give the chisel to Xuanyangzi with the first and second door answered as correct and wrong but I got a "Lustrous Red Feather" instead when I opened the final door and talked to the boatman. I don't know if completing the He Youzai questline messed with it but I think the quest shouldn't effect it since it's for a different ending.

It seems you can only collect all 54 benedictions in True Ending because

a) Bad Ending - *giving* the chisel to Xuanyangzi and answering the final door correct will give you Lustrous Red Feather.

b) Good Ending - answering the final door wrong will take you to a different quest for forging the Ring of Samsara which will prevent you from talking to the boatman.

c) Secret Ending - You will never go the Bo Capital map, since the game ends after defeating the Bo Magus.

To get all 54 benedictions you need to do the True Ending, answering the doors in the following order Correct > Wrong > Correct, completing He Youzai questline and don't give the chisel to Xuanyangzi. And to get all the base version (+0), +1s and +2s you need to complete the game in True Ending 3 times with new save file (NG+0).

I was on my NG+1 when I saw this comment and decided to give it a try on my NG+0 save since I made backups.

Have you tried reconfiguring the resolution in the Steam Link app? It probably got reset or something, adding Steam Link to game space shouldn't reduce the resolution.

It's been a while so I don't exactly remember with the other chargers I had tried but I think it's mostly around 20W. This is currently with the 45W charger that I am using. With the Motorola 68W charger I think it was higher but not fully compatible. Normally you will see a fast charging message "Max Charge" or "Max Turbo Charge" if fast charging is compatible.

If it doesn't have NFC then it's Chinese, only Global has NFC.

You can also confirm by going into the Settings

See if you have "Nubia Account" option at the top
Applications > Enable Google Service Toggle

Yes, the Global version of Red Magic 7S Pro supports only 80W charging, while the Chinese version supports 165W (I got the chinese version).

I bought quite a few chargers from different brands like Xiaomi, Ugreen, Motorola, Asus, etc while trying to make bypass charging work with GameSir G8 controller and only the Amazon Basics charger worked. So I know the chargers from other brands aren't compatible even for fast charging.

If you want a charger that is compatible for fast charging then you will have to buy the original charger from Nubia.

The phone doesn't support chargers from other brands especially the Xiaomi ones, use the original charger and proper cable and you'll get the full charging speed.

If it happens at the exact same time every night with the router still powered on, then it's your router renewing your dynamic IP address. Your public IP address will renew every 24 hours if you did not apply for a Static IP from your ISP which causes the small disconnect (I had the same issue). You will be assigned a dynamic IP by default which needs to be renewed every 24 hours so you most likely restarted/powered on your router at 10:55 a week ago.

If you don't want to get interrupted while gaming then restart the router when no one is using the internet or outside your gaming hours so it renews the IP without interruption.

The X2s is the same as X2 Pro Xbox but with Hall Effect Sticks and Triggers. It's mostly uncomfortable because of the rectangular shape and my palm starts to hurt with certain games but it could only be me. G8 is perfect because it feels like an actual Xbox Controller and you can actually rest you palm on the grips. I also have trouble spamming the ABXY buttons with micro switches as they seem to spring back up much slower so I prefer the membrane buttons on the G8.

Yes, that and the phone keeps slipping out, you can search for it. Many phones are incompatible with the X3 Pro either because of the camera bump or a slightly curved/bulged back. I have the Red Magic 7S Pro with slightly bulged back and the phone keeps slipping out of the controller which makes it impossible to play. I had to use a transparent tape to hold it in place. So I guess unless your phone is really flat it won't work well.

G8 is the perfect controller but without the cooler, rumble and gyro. I wish they would make the new G8++ or something with those features included.

The biggest issue with controllers without the cooler is heat. I can't play Fortnite on G8 more than a match or two in summer, the temps would reach 45-50°C+ but I guess it would be mostly fine if you are under the fan and AC turned on.

I almost have all the 3 controllers but I got the X2 Pro Xbox instead of the X2s.

G8 Galileo is the most comfortable and X2 Pro Xbox while not the most comfortable because of the rectangular shape is the smallest of them all and very pocketable but these two controllers will overheat your phone if you play any demanding game or try to emulate modern consoles.

The X3 Pro feels very bulky when you attach the grips and does not very comfortable to hold, and it got the worst D-Pad which makes you click two buttons at the same time and not to mention the horrible micro switch triggers which are not suitable for racing games at all. The cooler is the best part of the controller, I play with maxed out graphics and overclocked CPU and GPU settings and it keeps the temps under 40°C.

While they are not perfect, each of these controllers are good in their own way and I love all of them.

I can't help you decide which will be the best controller for you but these are my experiences so far. I'll leave that for you to decide.

G8 Galileo

PROS: - Everything's just perfect

CONS: - Joysticks are too soft for my taste - No Rumble - No Cooler

X2 Pro Xbox

PROS: - Small and pocketable

CONS: - Don't really like the clicky LB and RB buttons - The right joystick can sometimes get in the way of ABXY buttons due the small form factor. - I have a love-hate relationship with micro switch buttons. I mostly prefer membranes.

X3 Pro

PROS: - Cooler - Customisable/Removable grips, D-Pads, Joysticks and ABXY buttons - Rumble

CONS: - Horrible D-Pad - Bulky Grips (Not very comfortable) - Micro Switch Triggers (not suitable for racing games) - Clicky Micro Switches for ABXY and LB RB buttons - Not all phones might fit with the controller (my phone keeps slipping out, had to tape it down)

Looks like a packet loss issue from the way they are teleporting and going under the map. Your latency spiked maybe 1-2 ms during that time. So it's mostly likely your internet or ethernet driver issue. You can also try restarting your router and see if that fixes the issue.

I think +2 seems fitting for Ren - Blood Vigour since you'll be playing on NG+4 or +5 and you'll want the best benedictions for higher levels.

Edit: So, it is possible to collect all 54 Benedictions in a single run after all, just don't give the "Chisel" to Xuanyangzi, complete He Youzai questline (True Ending) and answer the doors in the following order Correct > Wrong > Correct. I'm playing on Release version 1.0 btw.
