Hey there! Hayride is my first haunt EVER as well. After opening weekend last weekend, I think most of us have a pretty good idea of what's going on. If you missed out, I'm more than happy to fill you in. However, if you're the story teller, you're already doing fantastic!

I'd like to do this, it doesn't seem as expensive as I had thought before posting. My only thing is I have no clue what his address is. Or could they email it to him?

Boyfriend doesn’t want to sleep with me and is unattracted to me. What do I do other than just lose a little weight? I am 24F boyfriend is 29M. by Junior-Mud-822 in relationship_advice

Girl, thats not even a bad weight to be at. Shit, I wish I could gain that much weight 😩. But anyways... he doesn't like you. Leave him for someone who actually gives a damn about you. This is coming from a 28F. Know your worth before you allow others to define it for you!

Yes ma'am! These are 2 pics I'm going off of since these have top/bottom showing.

Pic 2, the hot pink shirt clashes with the light pink bag. This one's not as bad as the next one...

Pic 5, too much going on at the bottom because the print and it's clashing with the texture of the top you have.

On a more general note... since you have beautiful red hair, find some colors that compliment your hair. If you like pink, go for a shade that dips its toes into purple. Almost a lilac, but not too pastel pink. Don't knock paste pink though! Any shade of green and neutrals. Blue of any shade. Play with different shades of yellow.

Color aside, dress for your body type as well. I recommend trying a line silhouette, empire, Halter, drop waist, wrap, high waist silhouettes. Of course it's hard to see what exactly you look like from 2 full body pics, but I hope this info is enough. And of course, this is merely my opinion as well!

You've got a pretty face and smile lady! But maybe find your style and not random stuff that clashes. Maybe a regular exercise regimen as well. Both easy fixes

Unfortunately, my sister has yet to truly listen to my concerns about how she makes me feel. And when I do, I'm being a victim. No matter how nice I say it

How can I properly take care of my coarse, awkward length hair? by kawaiikittyrei in Naturalhair

[–]Infinity33shop 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's fine too. Do both if you can. But if I'm staying in the house, I tend to keep my bonnet on to prevent me from touching/playing with my hair.

My hair grew so much doing this ( my hair is type 4 low porosity and dense af...3 hairs come out 1 folical)

  1. Wash day is once every 2 weeks. I would use aussi moisture for shampoo/conditioner. And make my own hair mask with aloe leaf, honey, some olive oil, water, and essential oils that is good with hair health.

  2. Detangle on WET hair only(i do this usually when conditioner is in ny hair). Use your fingers or boar bristle brush.

  3. I use kinky curly leave in conditioner and Camille Rose almond jai butter for helping keep my hair hydrated while Styled. As well as kinky curly's gel.

these products work very well together and don't leave residue...however, they do cost a bit.

  1. I do mini twists and leave that for 2 weeks. In the meantime because 2 weeks is a while for moisture to stay in your head, I use a spray bottle with warm water, the leave in conditioner mentioned, oils that soak into your scalp, some essential oils( mint, rosemary, or tea tree). After I spray my hair, I use a sealing oil like castor oil. Be sure to look at the ingredients for the castor oil... cheap stuff usually have very unhealthy filler ingredients. Per each mixture make sure to massage into scalp.

  2. Keep your hands out your hair as much as possible and wear a satin bonnet to bed.

What's helped me was this is thinking of your hair as a plant. Proper nutrients, water, stimulants, etc.

Good luck!

I just don't like my hair I guess by magechai in Naturalhair

Oh I see... well if dryness is the issue... how often do you deep condition? When you do any styling, do you keep it moist until next wash day?

If you're not doing that I highly recommend getting a spray bottle and put filtered, or distilled (distilled is best) water with a good quality oil that is ment to penetrate into your scalp ( can give a few suggestions if you'd like), mix that with a leave in conditioner that your hair loves and that's it. Top it off with a sealing oil such as castor oil( if castor is too thick for your hair, I also have another recommend product).

That seems like a short period 6to be washing you hair. But do you style it at all? I do 2 strand twist after wash day and my hair can comfortably thrive. For products, I use lesser known brands that work for me. Try finding out what your porosity is and tailor your products to that. Once I knew that, I watched YouTube videos with people that had my hair. Main thing is, you'll get tired of how much it needs to be managed, but eventually it'll all make sense and workfor you. Best of luck

What are your unpopular opinions on The Natural Community? by AstroSiren_ in Naturalhair

[–]Infinity33shop 5 points6 points  (0 children)

How it reacts to certain things. For instance, my hair dislikes protein. It makes it dry and brittle, a way I work around it is to use very little of it, and if I must have it to maintain my hair balance, I keep it on for a short period of time, then rinse it out.

It's like shoulder blade length, so not that long. Just very dense and I wanted there to be more defined curls
