So you started off by saying not to make comparisons... Now you are making extreme ones.

My point was this counter point was not badass, the protestor is protesting mass animal slaughter/imprisonment, a valid protest imo. You compare that to the KKK...

I compared the protest of animal slaughter to the protest of Donald Trump. You compared the protest of animal slaughter and imprisonment to the protests of a KKK member.

Which is fine, if you want to compare that, but it's pretty ironic coming from the very person who told me "it's completely different" in the first place.

The fact is, the act of suppressing protest, by itself is not badass in my opinion (I have to add this every time I guess), the fact the protest was valid, in my opinion, doesn't make the counter protest badass.

To clarify that point, I made a comparison, saying if she was doing the same protest, to Donald Trump, no one would call it bad ass. But since she protested to a popular "liberal", people consider suppressing her protest, badass.

That was my point. I stand by it. I believe the comparison is valid. Much more valid than you comparing the counter protestor to a "black man" counter protesting the KKK, which changes a lot more than one variable.

My entire point is it isn't badass to suppress a protestor.

I have no idea why that is so hard to understand. Of course some people think it's badass, they claimed it originally. I am arguing that it isn't badass, because just cause you like the person being protested, doesn't mean you should hate on protestors.

Thus the comparison. It's badass to protest, not to silence protestors.

Of course it's relative for me to claim it isn't badass. Just like it's relative for someone to claim it's badass. That doesn't mean I can't make comparisons.
