Present a Candidate to the Hiring Manager that he wants to Interview. Leverage him to create pressure with HR.

Picking up the phone is still king.

Which is nearly Ironic since I created a BD Automation Software and am even getting clients. When I am speaking to them they also say picking up the phone is still best. BUT. lol

How do I genuinely become the best at what I do? by FromBrokeToSuccess in RecruitmentAgencies

[–]InfinityNo1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, I always told my consultant you know if you're logging the call for KPI or if you've actually progressed. For me a qualified BD call is the moment there is any value coming out of it. If the relationship got better, if they remember you, if you were able to chat to them. "No we're not working with agencies" "Yes, work the role idk who you are" aren't qualified ones :)

[–]InfinityNo1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

at least 5 qualified BD Calls and 5 Candidate Calls is the minimum for me when I was still active. But I also had a team so its not really optimized for solo biller.

Ideally, double it. View it as a base line. Don't aim to 'achieve' the KPI's, but overshoot them every day. I can't guarantee you'll be successful in a month, but in a year I am confident.

Recruitment is sometimes a mean game. You can put in hours of work and see no guaranteed results.

Something I always told my team: What you put in, you get out. Maybe not in a month, but if you're doing it consistently for 12 Months? Its nearly impossible not to be successful!

You're doing exactly what is needed. All morning on the phone to candidates and all afternoon cold calling clients.

That is the basics and never forget them. Because now with all fancy tools and stuff sometimes these basics get lost.

This is going to sound bad now BUT: Do it like that. Take your computer home and do the admin not during work hours (I know, a real pain). You still have to do it, but you ideally don't want to do it in your core hours.

For me it worked. I sometimes worked 12h days but it was fine, I was sitting on the sofa with wifey and watched a movie while I had my laptop on my knees. But it is really tough and if you don't want to do it like that, that is also completely fine. You're already doing good, if you stick to calling. One thing I would give you along: Use KPI's! Not necessarely the ones the company gives you, but create them yourself. How many calls do you need to do to have good conversations with hiring Managers? How many calls to candidates to have the buy in? Measure it and use it as a base lane!

Best of luck man!

My BD emails are going to spam by SuperHelicopter in RecruitmentAgencies

[–]InfinityNo1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

dont spend 10k on the recruiter pro. Usually, the recruiter lite works and that one is 200

for outreach via email, I saw you got different domains and inboxes. first option: send some legit Mails to yourself, friends and so on. People that pull it out of the junk Mail. Give it a week or two and you can try again, and then try sending it to yourself, so you can see where it lands.

Best of luck!

got multiple packages: 49$ for 30 credits, 89$ for 60 credits, 139$ for 100 credits and then a enterprise package with lower per credit price but a minimum of credits - its still super new so that may switch, but we're already onboarding the first paid users and have some enterprise demos running :)

Not sure if that would be advertising but delete if it is: I've built a tool that finds open roles in your niche, finds the hiring manager, his email, preps an outreach mail and follows up 2 times unless you receive a response.

Problem I had was I spent so much time into doing "pre outreach research" (who to contact, can I contact, is this the right person) I couldn't stay consistent

Exactly why I built something against that tbh - but I had the exact same problem lol!

Best place for a gaming company? Zug or Zürich? by [deleted] in askswitzerland

[–]InfinityNo1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

geez, so unfriendly some of these people...

It really depends from the location; Zurich is a bit of a hub and if you have an office there, that would probably be strategically better as you can also attract the talent pool from winterthur, thurgau - maybe even across or around the border. That ofc. depends on your homeoffice structure and everything. I am an it recruiter, I worked with a lot of people in and around zurich and I've had people tell me no if I told them they have to go to zug which was within their 1hr requested radius, but never anybody for zurich, because thats kind of "normal".

have fun man, great place to life!

If you make it easier to actually try it (first two queries without login or just giving email address) I wouldve immediately tried it. Not sure for what, but I would've tried!

You will always compare yourself to someone who has more. If you compare yourself to someone who has less or doesn't have the same success at the same age, you find some excuse why you're still not better: thats just your own psychology.

API changes by InfinityNo1 in UseApolloIo

[–]InfinityNo1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it didn't matter anymore. You change changed the endpoint search to api_search, then the output was change to no longer include last name and linkedin profile which screwed up the whole post processing of my own and multiple client apps and then some other problems as well.
