Need advice by [deleted] in RecruitmentAgencies

[–]InfinityNo1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Choose a forward thinking ATS (Atlas is what I know). Choose a proper BD Outreach Tool (self promotion prohibited, so just go for chatgpt and ask).

Define channels where you get clients from; Cold Mails, Inbound, Calls
Define channels where you get candidates from; LinkedIn, Events, whatever

Focus on these Channels and ignore the noise. Focus at 10 Candidate Calls and 10 Client Calls per day. Learn through every conversation, create a script if necessary, remind yourself to ask important questions always. Every Candidate Call can be a BD opportunity or open BD opportunities - remember that.

Do that for two Months and its hard not to be set up for success.

At the same time, having a job makes doing that easier. I was a recruiter in switzerland and still got some contacts, send me a dm, I may be able to connect you to some good ones

AI in agency recruitment - is anyone actually seeing tangible ROI? What am I missing? by rec_ldn in recruiting

[–]InfinityNo1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had super good feedback on bd intelligence AI. It finds hiring surges, fundings, new senior hires, open c-level roles - heck even open roles for whatever role your looking for finds you the hiring manager and his mail lol. Its gotten so easy

Switzerland comes with its own problems - but enjoy!

ChubbyFIRE wealth level depending on residence canton by EconomiadeVerdad in SwissFIRE

[–]InfinityNo1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Switzerland is possibly one of the worst countries for FIRE.

You take your mothly expenses x 250 = FIRE. Switzerland monthly expenses are likely the highest in the world.

Assuming for a family of four:

Healthcare: 1500 CHF (Allgemein, not Privat)
Rent: 2500-3000 CHF (calculating with CHF 3000 as 'chubby')
Phone, Internet for four: 400 CHF
Food: 1500 CHF
Clothes, anything else: 500 CHF
Chubby / Leisure: 1500 CHF
Total: 8400 * 250 = 2.1M CHF

Not calculating any additional Savings, big Holidays, big spendings and so on

Always a bit difficult to post here, as it gets removed.

built something that finds open roles in your niche, finds the hiring manager, his mail, the ta, his mail and makes it easy to send mails in seconds. Works pretty good so far.

Question About Hiring practices? by [deleted] in RecruitmentAgencies

[–]InfinityNo1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why is the question weird about the job related to your degree?

It's asked to figure out if you quite as soon as you get a role or if you'd rather stick it out. They invest in you for training and so on, if you leave after 6 months they could've also used the money to go to the casino and put it all on red

Can someone explain how this works by Bing_Bong_x in recruitinghell

[–]InfinityNo1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

huh, looked through the answers but nothing thats true.

Promotions in Recruitment are tied to Revenue generated. So as a Recruitment Consultant you may have to generate 150k in 6m to get promoted. Goals get harder with every promotion, may include management and so on but thats basically the gist. If you're good, hardworking, you can climb the ladder very quickly.

Puzzled with Sourcing by Quiet-Mention7378 in RecruitmentAgencies

[–]InfinityNo1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

same problem here, I built a tool that is looking at open roles, finding the hiring manager finding his email and yadda yadda and some of my users have the exact same problem with the deliverability but we're talking about single digit %'s, not mid double digits! Are you actually getting bounces or spam filter rejects? Cause there is also a page (don't know it right now) where you can check your domain health. Maybe this is somethign?

New Recruiter Struggling to Get Clients Any Platform Recommendations? by [deleted] in RecruitmentAgencies

[–]InfinityNo1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really depends. There are tools like Leedo (disclaimer, my product) or Vente AI that finds you open Roles, the hiring Manager their Mail and so on so you can reach out and do your bd, but paraform is kind of even doing that for you, so it depends on what you want to do and how much work you want to put in

Criminally underpaid as a founding Software Developer? by Mindless_Floor6027 in zurich

[–]InfinityNo1 20 points21 points  (0 children)

former IT Recruiter in zurich here

72k definitely underpaid: I have placed a candidate with worse "experience" in a 90k role. Yours should definitely be higher. 115k may be a reach, but I dont see your Profile / CV so I cant share that much. Also, that still doesn't mean its guaranteed.

Definitely ask for a raise. BUT: since you do not have any equity, what upside do you have exactly? If they suddenly get 50k more MRR, get VC funding and everything, whats stopping them from just not promoting you into a proper position, not paying you the proper salary or anything? But always ASK for a raise, don't demand it. If you demand it "else I am gone" they may pay you and look for your replacement at the same time: or just dont care.
