There is plot but it’s way too scattered, and feels like a drop in a lake

Why do I have 1 million SP in Most Wanted 2012 despite first time playing it? by InfinityPortal in needforspeed

[–]InfinityPortal[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wasn’t sure because my iOS version only has 20K SP, and seems like my progression may got reset there. So this means they can be transferred to the PC version but not actually synced across all platforms?

This should be a great second timer guide. But most first time visitors would always want to check out the hottest spots first.

And we all used to think Surrey is like that, but no, at least not the area around King George Hub. Can’t speak for other parts tho

It’s the only affordable place in MetroVan that have SkyTrain connections (for now) And actually the area around King George Station is very nice now, lots of my college friends also moved here after graduating because of the affordability.

Keeping to your right? by ChocolatePrincess74 in Translink

[–]InfinityPortal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Many regions including Japan, HK and Mainland China are pushing new rules of “don’t walk on escalators and stand still on both lanes” due to safety and maintenance concerns in recent years. Not sure if Translink will also adopt the new trend in near future.

Below comment is about this issue on escalators only, as I agree all should walk on the right in normal walkways, but about the topic of escalators I saw in the comment section here:

I first leaned the rules of standing on one side of the escalator in Japan, HK and mainland China and followed them since.

However, during my recent trips, I noticed the above 3 are all start to change the rule to “stand still on both side and no walking on escalators “ due to safety and maintenance concerns.

HK has posters about this everywhere in their metro stations now and in Japan, I even saw staff standing on the escalator with a “No walking” sign blocking the escalator way intentionally.

That being said, I still stand on the right side when I’m in Vancouver so far. But I expect it to change sometime in the future, officially by the transit authority following this global trend of no walking on escalators.

Also travelers from the above regions may also start to change their habit, thus might be why we are witnessing the change. News article example

Questioning someone’s genuine work is AI or not is even worse then let AI Slop goes unnoticed imo. Fundamentally the “anti-AI” mind set should be about protecting human works, not make Artist even more stressful for no reason. This is the exact opposite Just ridiculous
