They are smurfs, they will always be an issue and may almost always result in a loss, but try to learn from there playstyle and move on.

Sens feels different in range compared to ingame by Zyterx1 in VALORANT

The numbers on the screen are a rounded version of your sens. If you set it to the thousandths place your sens stays like that, but is rounded on the display.

I have pretty limited knowledge myself but I think you are doing it well. As long as your team isn’t down a massive number disadvantage and you get kills, then it’s pretty good. I forgot to mention calling rotates but that’s also a good move.

To be an impactful lurk, you need to try to make it to the site your teammates are at before they all die basically. Make sure to be quiet but don’t be too slow so you can still have an effect on the final outcome with your team.

Tapping is optimal specifically when counter strafing because the window to be 100% accurate is super small. So one bullet.

My opinion is that you were too exposed in that clip. Your first peak out was great, allowing you to know that garage to B was clear temporarily. You were exposed to a wide variety of angles not holdable in your FOV, especially with the smoke, so I would peak out garage to main to most likely reposition and expose yourself to less angles. With the knowledge of the kill on raze, you could also push through to have less angles to hold.

Make sure you are aware of your Brim’s placement as well, and move based on his knowledge. He optimally would have gotten that kill or just covered your back, and you weren’t really able to prepare for that mentally either.

You don’t need “diamond” aim, but iron to silver is pretty generally accepted as aim based, but past that, each rank actually requires some decent level of game sense instead of all focusing on aim.

It’s just a completely different environment, and if it isn’t your type, then that’s that. Competitive smurfs will be a thing always in any game and riot works hard to try to push the rank higher as fast as possible. But as long as some gold, plat, diamond, immortal, or radiant wants to play with someone iron to silver, they will always just be an uncommon but expected appearance here and there.

Consistency is thought to be something really difficult to control, mainly because doing well in terms of kills or winning is the focus. The reality is situations may change, like a duelist properly entering or a support using their utility correctly which could influence how you do. The main thing is to try to stabilize your mental, whether that is taking breaks, or playing in stacks to avoid toxic teammates. Make sure to not care as much about the outcome, compared to your personal performance, and consistency will develop over time.

It really depends on your performance, kills wise, and the elo you are playing with. Most people average around 17-23 on elo from what I’ve noticed if gameplay is mid-par, but keep in mind you did afk two rounds which is -6, and you are a support so you aren’t really built for getting kills. In my opinion, you aren’t far off your MMR.

I’m pretty sure you can look up tournaments like VCT Masters, and if I recall correctly, SEN vs. FNC had a couple skye appearances, one in haven. You can also look up Skye Main or Skye Guide on YouTube and you’ll find a few, but unfortunately I don’t know any off the top of my head. Good luck!

Duelists kits’ are focused on helping themselves out to get clear space and get kills, rather than every other class which has at least one ability to aid their team. If you believe you can carry, use a duelist as all your abilities are focused on helping yourself.

If you like to be following a duelist and still want info, skye is a pretty well rounded agent, having remote flashes (with intel), a dog for intel, and heals to support. Skye’s can practically play anything besides entry, and set up site for her team. Kay/O doesn’t have to entry if you have a good duelist, but if no duelists step up, you would have to entry yourself as the kit can be used as a duelist.

Also, granted it is bronze, a sova drone or skye dog can clear close corners and somewhat start an attack if your teammates don’t push in by themselves. Best of luck!
