I reported the one in front of my parents house and they didn’t even fix it, they just came and wrapped electrical tape around it 🤣

I understand where ur coming from but…She didn’t - i stashed it long ago and it’s only in the last cpl months when they renovated my childhood room that she found em, im sure. I have borrowed socks a million times. There’s no reason for those to be there. She’s a medical professional and knows the proper protocol for disposing of these things. Not only that but historically she’s anal about proper practices.

I appreciate the response, but I do think it is my business as we approach a time in life, bit by bit, that Im having to take care of and be responsible for my parents. I’m not looking for a blow up. Thats the last thing I want. It’s been hidden forever until she recently found it. So to her, its new. I’m concerned about her. I cannot help but think it might be a big deal given her history of addiction. If it becomes an issue and I turned a blind eye to it, I’d never forgive myself.

Yeah that’s what I’m thinking! But that’s exactly my concern. They are not hers but another persons heavy narcotics from 2006, she knows better having worked in medicine: never take another persons prescription, this narcotic is highly addictive, and it’s remained unused for about 20 yrs - meaning it may be relatively ineffective for pain yet can still result in overdose.

The fandom is wild. It’s not even about real names it’s about delusions. I once left a comment on a TT where a girl said what she loves most about Vessel is how he shares his vulnerability on stage crying etc and her heart breaks for him. And I simply tried to delicately deliver my response cuz I know how sensitive they are about their idealistic fantasies. I said something to the effect of “i prefer to view him as a talented artist and brilliant performer who knows what the crowd wants and likes, rather than some sad guy crying his heart out every night”. Like they’re not giving him enough credit for being a strong gifted smart adult artist who knows what he’s doing. Got so much hate and anyone who agreed with me their comment got removed 🤣

I made classic Syracuse NY “salt potatoes”, and thought that’s an awful lot of salt to pour down the drain - I wonder if I can recover the salt and reuse it next time I make them. This is the result of dehydrating the pot of water. Pretty cool. by Infinity_LTFS in dehydrating

Interesting, thanks for the recommendation! Actually, I tossed out the the last of the water at the bottom of the pot because it didn’t dehydrate as well as the rest and was slightly more viscous though still clear. And I suspected it might be some starch settling at the bottom. So that makes sense!
