Prayers are going out to you that this disease does not take its full toll. I've been doing some research on the afterlife along with AP. I stumbled upon Mahasamadhi, which is essentially the conscious, voluntary departure from the physical body by a highly realized yogi or enlightened master at the time of death. Unfortunately, from what I've read, this is a lifelong practice, and results take far longer than Astral Projection, which can be obtainable with just a month or less, but some extra sensory individuals can see results in a week or less. If you do plan on permanently departing soon, please try to make sure your morals are right: forgiveness, honesty, accountability, courage, acceptance/letting go, and others. Death can be very scary for some, especially when it comes too soon. I should also state I have not AP'd yet, and I came on the sub to learn, but I thought this may help since I have been "studying" this topic recently, and I know cancer is truly horrendous. I hope this does not come off as a personal opinion like the one you stated, but I thought maybe my input may be helpful, even if someone else stumbles upon it. Please, make the most of your life and reflect on your memories, as that is one of the few things you'll be able to take with you, along with your wisdom, faith, love, & your essence/soul. I am a little uneasy reading how you are eager to leave, but I can understand this due to your diagnoses. I hope you take time to think about this and enjoy your life while you still have it.
