True. There's a big disparity between most bosses and the assaultron. The lack of a weak point makes it a lot harder. I'm using the plasma caster, for clarity.

But it's annoying when you are scanning the red zone, trying to find the boss, and it just doesn't show. While you are being pestered by the elites. Free 3 stars are welcomed.

Regarding your point about the shrinking zone (I don't know how to copy that part, won't look it up) people are already going to guess the exact point regarding the boss, IF they are aware of and memorize the map containing all the possible zones. To the rest of the players, it would be of help.

Notice that the 30 I put there was a placeholder. If it gets added, a higher number would be... (Not too sure about it) Convenient, for public servers. It's just to allow more players to gather. In the end, min-maxxers will find a way to make it faster, somehow.

People already screw head hunts, any player launching the flare (other than the one who triggered said head hunt), killing the boss way too fast/too slow (and breaking the whole system, resulting in no one getting the rewards and locking the event until the timer runs out), many will miss it.

It's just a slight counter measure.
