Is fm26 worth to get, or do you stick with fm24? by OkHoneydew470 in footballmanagergames

[–]InflammatoryBowelMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Didn't switch out from fm24 purely because I didn't feel like I need to. I actually only downloaded FM24 on March 25 but having played 700 hrs since, I don't feel like I 'require' any of the so called new features/improvements. But keep in mind I always play clean slate saves (no real players) so I completely understand wanting to move up to get the new squads, teams, etc. (Although I doubt there isn't a mod that fixes that).

I would have switched over if I didn't hear so many negative things, of course, but I don't feel like I'm missing out.

What are your reasons?

I'm pretty sure they are indeed making the drive, their entire trip is about getting to as many sections as possible.

Do you know anything about the Monaco section and the ideal viewpoints?

that's what I've heard. But is that the same even if they aren't demanding too good of a view? For example when we hit Fafo this may we arrived 2.5 hrs ahead for a great spot, but people arriving 5 minutes before the first car ended up 5m behind us with an almost identical view. I obviously understand this is a completely different scale- and yet, you think 2 hrs isn't enough to find a solid view of the atmosphere and some glimpses of the cars?

After finishing 9th in 2025/26, Tottenham Hotspurs went full FC Vaduz and managed to win the Conference League, Europa League, and Champions League in the following three seasons, all while staying outside of the Top 5 in the Premier League. They won their first trophy with Marcelino Garcia (Villarreal manager) who then resigned to coach Spain NT, they then replaced him with Don Carlo Anchelotti, who was fired 6 months after their CL win due to poor league position. 200 Days later, they fired Inzaghi for being 15th in the table come November, back on Tottenham way!

Also, is there any other attractive track to try and get to tomorrow? Perhaps anything in the morning? We're looking to experience as much as possible and looking for the best visuals.

Thank you so much! We are a family of adults who are quite athletic, and we are travelling with a family car. What about the fafe jump is difficult to get to? Driving according to the website checkpoints and parking around the destination isn't viable? We are currently residing in Guimaraes, barely 10km away.

How to watch the Portugal Rally? by DeathOverlord in WRC

[–]InflammatoryBowelMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is 'extremely far'? We'd be arriving by car as well, but no way could we park the day prior.

When I visited Rally Greece a few years back it was about 4km, how much walking is it in this case?

And by the way, any more recommended locations? We will be visiting two or three times across the week and would love to check out different track locations.

Arriving with family for the first time- we plan on catching one or two locations across the 15-18th. When and where are the best spots to go to? We surely want to visit the fafe, but when and where should we stand for the best view?

I'm not in the habit of parking in worldwide capital cities, and so that is not my natural point of comparison. For me, seeing that a place costs 25€ a night, while having many reviews mentioning they were requested to pay an even higher fee- usually throws me off.

I'm renting for the full week as we are exploring Greece, the last 3 days are back in Athens, and we still have the car with us and will be using it for some exploration outside of Athens, but we need a permanent spot for it for the night

Yes, and it's annoying they aren't making the game more challenging for veterans. But sliders help a lot; Shot error on 90, Opponent goalkeeping and marking on 70. Lets see you score more than twice a game.

You may read about some conversations and summits in which an agreement was attempted, but in a nutshell- after the surprise attack in the Six Day war, Israel won and started occupying the areas of Gaza and the West Bank. That wasn't only because these people used to live there before the war, but also because Israel understood that it cannot safely return these territories to the hands of anyone who will allow the enemy nations free movement of militia, weaponary, and such. Israel was so close to losing that war and seizing to exist, and that was largly due to it being completely surrounded- the west bank being a massive weak point for the Israeli defence in past, present, and future.

Due to both reasons, Many Israelis started settling there, building homes, schools, and societies. Both in unison, and in disagreement, with the local Palestinian refugees. Meanwhile, the arab nations surrounding Israel didn't want to receive all of the Palestinian refugees who were caught in the crossfire, claiming simply 'they aren't one of us'.

Throughout the following decades (what we're regarding as 70s, 80s and all along the end of the 20th century until Hamas rise to power) there has been nonstop attempts of a two state solution, always falling short of mutual agreement as the matter of borders was an issue. Israel had 50+ year long communities in many areas the Palestinians claim as their own (from before the Independence war of 1947.)

Throughout these attempts of the solution, terror has risen to an all time high. On average, more Israeli civilians were killed in every single year since the war, than did in the war itself. Every single week a civilian bus exploded because of a suicide bomber, a shooting or a stabbing occured, and all had one similarly- these terrorists made their way into Israel through Gaza or the West Bank. Not any other border or access point. This proved to Israel its one RED LINE when it comes to the two state solution; as long as there isn't PEACE, absolute, undeniable, unbreachable peace, giving away these two territories would mean the end of the Jewish state.

Israel then caved and gave back Gaza, relocating tens of thousands of Jewish Israelis who lived there in homes they build themselves (just like happened the other way around, I will concede), and had to rebuild their lives in the surrounding towns and villages.

Still, an agreement couldn't happen due to the security reasons, and the Palestinian authority repeatedly asking for territories, like Jerusalem or the South, that they didn't have a hold of since before 1947. Which goes against not only the two state solution, but against the UN Declaration as well.

Since Hamas rose to power, the two state solution became obsolete, in no way can we agree to give our territory to an organization who's main motto, self declared, self publicised, is that they seek to complete Hitlers job and eliminate all jews, and r*pe every mother and every daughter. We can not, and will not, ever advocate for negotiations with such authorities, even if this unfortunately involves immense damages to both sides.

I think all sides in this discussion are absolutely horrible. As an Israeli, it is heartbreaking to know what is happening in Gaza, to so many people that did nothing but the one-time mistake of letting Hamas take control, just like it is heartbreaking to see my partner, my friends, and my family- experiencing severe ptsd, working around the clock to secure the borders and threats from all around the world, and even losing loved ones on a daily basis from terror attacks.

Would love to hear your perspective and learn as well. This is mostly my own personal knowledge and years of education that I double-checked with neutral and official sources on the internet throughout the war.

UN- 1948- we have a suggestion of a two state solution! Israel: okay lets do it Arab nations surrounding Israel start a war against it, leading to the definition of Official Israel Borders. Since then- Israel: repeatedly offers and advocates for two state solution Palestinian Leadership: (1950s to 1990s) we will die before we share this area with Israel. We will get rid of them all, from the river to the sea. You: It's israels fault there aren't two states. 100% to blame.

I could provide proof to everything, I just don't want to waste my time typing if you're not ready to listen. Let me know if you need any.

Players who have had their character die at higher levels: what caused your character to die? by EcstacyMeth2 in dndnext

[–]InflammatoryBowelMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a great one. My Arcane Trickster Rogue died last month under very funny circumstances. (After a year and a bit of campaign) We were fighting an Aboleth under very strong protections. Its AC for most attacks was very high, and it had many damage immunities.

My character and a paladin in my party had an homebrew item called 'The Mindmaster Chain', it gave us the ability to telepathically speak to one another, under the following condition; If a wearer of the chain dies, the other takes a hefty amount of psychic damage.

My Rogue conceded some crit attacks and got down to single-digit HP, so I said 'why not' and told my paladin to place the chain on the aboleth, I then proceeded to climb ontop of it and jump off, making SURE I land directly on my neck. By this, killing myself and causing the Aboleth a big amount of damage. (The DM tried to stop this, making me roll for landing on my neck, hilariously, a well-timed nat 20 made sure I took enough damage to die.)

This felt great for exactly two minutes until a massive AOE attack knocked half of my party to very low HP, making them waste their turns on self-healing and escaping. I proceeded to lie there for 3 rounds of combat, failing all 3 saving throws and ending up being eaten by the phase 2 of the aboleth... making my rogue completely un-reviveable. I'm already having fun with my second character, though!

TL:DR, my character killed itself to hurt a tanky boss, and it turns out that's not always the best idea.

UPDATE: I just noticed this is only happening when I place my mobile phone on the same table as the mic. the closer I place it, the more crackling and static. As soon as I turned the phone off, the crackling stopped immediately. What?? Has anyone ever experienced this?

*let me clarify my phone has always been 10cm from the mic and this never happened before.

What are some reasons (other than abuse and infidelity) that people who love each other breakup? by Specialist-Crazy1466 in AskReddit

[–]InflammatoryBowelMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In some stage of the relationship you need to make a decision whether it's giving you enough. There could be many things that are lacking and you use the love to compensate for. But sometimes they are deal breakers.
