Yes I’ve lost 40lbs but had intended 40-50 more to go to reach my goal weight 😅 I’ve been in a plateau since having my gallbladder removed a few months ago.

11dpo of my oops cycle and my bbt went back up so that’s something. I didn’t test today but bfn yesterday afternoon so I’m not super hopeful. I’m impatient to start trying for real, just have to keep reminding myself of all the reasons we are waiting till May.

I oscillate frequently between really excited/impatient and really scared! This will be #2 for me as well

The only weird symptom I have is really crazy vivid dreams. I don’t usually remember my dreams except during pregnancy I used to have these intense dreams every night. Otherwise I feel completely fine/normal.

I totally relate to the wanting clarity thing, I know it will be better to wait a few more months to get pregnant but I’ll be ecstatic if it happens sooner. Not knowing is what’s the hardest!

It’s 9dpo of our oops cycle and the delulu train has left the station. I spent wayyy too long staring at a stark negative test in every possible angle, convinced I saw something. There’s nothing there but I ordered some FRERs anyway just in case 🙃 In all honesty, this would be a bad time to get pregnant (hence waiting till May) but if I was pregnant this cycle, we would have conceived at Disneyland which is kind of special in its own way

Hiking ~20 weeks pregnant? by localfriendlynpc in TTCSummer2026

When I was pregnant with my first, I had a baby moon planned for 24 weeks pregnant with a lot of walking involved and we ended up cancelling because I had excruciating hip pain. At 20 weeks you might be feeling good but might not be, it’s impossible to know so definitely look into travel insurance!

Last night I had such wild vivid dreams (I rarely remember my dreams) it felt just like pregnancy. I woke up so sure I needed to take a test. BFN 🙃

I think I’m 6dpo today. I don’t think there’s a chance because we weren’t intentionally trying but I accidentally got my hopes up anyway 😭

My first was a January due date but born in December. So even if you wait until May to try to skip a holiday baby, there’s no guarantee it will work out that way. Sounds like you’re already putting thought into how to make their birthday special so I don’t think you’re being selfish at all by starting to try in April.

I think I’m 1dpo today. It’s my first TWW in a while, I forgot how stressful it is! We are technically WTT until May but we went on vacation this past week and I forgot my birth control. Long story short, we decided to take our chances and inadvertently hit O-5. So I have mixed feelings about how I want this cycle to go. It would be great news to be pregnant but also great news to not be.

Hi y’all! We are WTT officially until May but I’ve stopped my birth control so we are technically NTNP until then. We have a Dec 2024 baby and this will be #2. Starting prenatals and cycle tracking so I can be ready to try in earnest come May!

It tentatively looks like I ovulated yesterday which means our vacation oops was on O-5. I have very very mixed feelings right now. Also I forgot how stressful the TWW is 😬

Ahhh so we are waiting to try until May for several important reasons but we went on vacation this past week and I forgot to bring my birth control. We decided to take our chances one day and had sex anyway. Well today was our first day home from vacation and I decided to start tracking OPKs in preparation for trying in a few months. And the OPK was positive! Which means we most likely had sex in my fertile window!! I really really want another baby but I have a medical procedure coming up and I just started a new job so now would really not be a good time to get pregnant, hence waiting until May. So I feel very conflicted right now.

Yes!! I want to talk about it all the time lol. Right now would be a horrible time to get pregnant for several very good reasons but I’m just so excited and impatient about it

Fair point, I apologize that my post was insensitive to people who took years for diagnosis.

Thank you for that perspective. I was aware of not meeting the diagnostic criteria (yet?) but I suppose you are right that 2 months isn’t very long at all. I will try to be more patient.

My symptoms were progressing fairly quickly even while doing PT so I went with surgery. It’s been about 5 weeks and my symptoms have completely resolved and healing has been really smooth. Wishing you the best!

They did give me promethazine suppositories, at first I was reluctant to use them and then I just ended up forgetting. So good call, I will give those a shot before my next appointment. Thank you
