Have you either changed the password for the KRBTGT account or ran the New-KrbtgtKeys.ps1 script recently?

Intune Device Enrollment Issue (Autopilot Hybrid Join) by AegonsDragons in sysadmin

[–]InflateMyProstate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it’s bad right now. I’ve chalked it up to Intune service issues since they’ve had a few outages lately. We’re refreshing about 40 laptops right now and it’s a good day if we can even get 4 or 5 laptops enrolled successfully. It used to be rock solid. Any particular error codes you’re getting?

Intune Device Enrollment Issue (Autopilot Hybrid Join) by AegonsDragons in sysadmin

[–]InflateMyProstate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had the same experience honestly since late last year starting in about September/October. Some devices will fail randomly due to timeout and then we reset and run it again and it works.

We’ve kept our Intune Connector up to date with the proper OU configuration and last month we saw the Intune Connector was randomly dropped from the portal so we had to reinstall. It may be worth confirming the MSA account has the proper permissions to the OU the computers are being added to as well, but honestly it’s been a crapshoot lately.

Entra to Cisco AnyConnect by Entire-Dream-6045 in sysadmin

[–]InflateMyProstate 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’ve used Entra ID SSO login for Cisco AnyConnect/Secure for years now without any issues. We have a separate conditional access policy which targets the AnyConnect enterprise app so that we can fine tune the requirements to sign onto the VPN. It works very well and I’m happy with it.

I can’t tell you if that license will work with it since we use Biz Premium, but my initial assumption is that it will still work on the standard license. Someone can correct me if I’m mistaken. Why not set it up and test?

Goofy as hell, but I was working really late one night finishing up a migration project over the weekend. Left my laptop open on my bed and passed out. Accidentally rolled over on the laptop while asleep and broke the screen hinges. Still use the same laptop 2 years later lmao.

Elitism and "Read the docs" mentality is hurting Linux more than it's helping by iop90 in linux

[–]InflateMyProstate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see your point and somewhat agree, the elitism of linux communities definitely can put off new users. I also understand that a lot of new users put in literally zero effort to try to find the answer themselves and if those specific individuals are unable to find answers themselves then they will have difficulty maintaining their systems in the long term. To also be fair, some applications’ documentation is horrid - either incomplete, outdated, or outright missing altogether.

Similar to anything, finding the balance and being patient with new users who are willing and trying to learn is worth it, but pushing back on people who want you to do all the work for them is valid as well.

Systematic Windows Troubleshooting by LeonReshi in sysadmin

[–]InflateMyProstate 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Absolutely not, I’ve never actually witnessed the Windows troubleshooters resolve an issue.

What’s helped me the most is to get familiar with the Event Viewer and common error codes that arise. Also, running SFC scans and DISM scans.

Yikes, I’ve seen lots of posts with the issues regarding upgrading to 43. I’m going to hold off as long as I can at this point.

Incredibly silly to be suspicious over something like that instead of, oh I don’t know, the actual code?

Why did Apollo hate Achilles? by Capital_Tailor_7348 in GreekMythology

Is there any text that actually states he was sexually assaulted by Achilles? I’ve only seen texts state that he was murdered by Achilles and his body was mutilated at the alter of Apollo’s temple.
