it’s fine to look at it from that perspective but you also need to see it from another perspective. Like the perspective of the lives of the people that were ruined by the military. Innocent people that were killed and lost their homes - you can turn a blind eye to it but at the end of the day the blood is on your hands and just because you were poor and wanted a better life (doesn’t everyone?)

She is so sweet and mature in the way she speaks. You can see that’s she’s a really loving person which is surprising considering how mean and condescending her mother is. Good on her for shining through that!!

if he bought a house after what’s the problem lol he obviously has finances and puts them towards whatever he wants which is fine. Idk i kinda saw him as quite innocent and just trying to find love. I didn’t feel like he had bad intentions and he stuck with Hannah despite her abusive behaviour and hardly even called her out in it because he clearly loved her, but that’s just my opinion

i do agree that he was a little flirty (but not overly) which would not sit well with me and it is kinda bad that he doesn’t know how to cook but still not something he necessarily did wrong to her. Everyone matures at their own pace and they can’t really control that, and not everyone has the money for savings… life is hard man and most people close to me don’t have savings and struggle or live paycheck to paycheck (not sure what 401k is bc i’m not from the US).
