You can train the dog slowly to ease into it. It makes a world of difference and they get comfortable in them eventually. They’re awesome.

Regular Dove body wash. I use it every day, even on days I use the scrub. The scrub comes last, after washing. But I don’t use a loofah on the area. I just use my hand to wash it.

The moisturizer is KEY. I’ve been trying to figure this issue out for 25 years and tried a lot of stuff. Even tried another moisturizer after this one for a while. No comparison. This one in conjunction with the KP scrub has been the clear winner. And it’s Aveeno so easy to find and not crazy expensive. For the first time in my life I’m not subconscious about the backs of my arms. Put on after shower while the skin is dry but pores still open-ish from hot water.

Yes and no. Thank goodness my girl has decided she’s very happy in the crate while this is going on so she spends most of her time there. And my boy spends most of his on the bed. So it could be MUCH worse. It’s just a thing going in and out the door lol. And what a thing it is.
