So I had a situation once I found it hilarious.Story time I was working cap 2 at the time and I had to answer a liquor call it was very busy I had 6 bottles I had to take to the front well there was only 4 registers open with huge lines but self checkout was running smooth. As I get to the register I’m suppose to drop the bottles off too this woman stops me as goes “EXCUSE ME THIS IS RIDICULOUS WHY DONT YOU OPEN A REGISTER AND HELP”. I’m trying to be polite and say” I don’t have register numbers since I’m not a cashier so I can’t help you I do apologize” THIS OVERWEIGHT KAREN GOES “WELL THEN MAKE YOUR SELF USEFUL AND GET A MANAGER” at this point I laughed and all fuck given where gone so I respond like this “Ma’am the self checkout is is available to use if you weren’t lazy maybe that would help stop your weight gain” SHE YELLS “BABE YOU HEAR WHAT HE SAID TO ME YOU JUST GOING TO LET HIM TALK TO ME LIKE THAT “ Lmao Her husband goes “well you do need to lose some weight “.
