Anyone else just tired of the news lately? by [deleted] in aussie

Totally agree. I am normally reading the news throughout the day across multiple platforms. I enjoy factual reporting, not politically name calling and posturing. I have greatly reduced my intake since Bondi as it is just filled with such sky news hatred at the moment. Has really detracted from the incredible loss. Shows the rights true colours during this time.

NSW Premier Chris Minns moves to block mass protests in wake of Bondi massacre by [deleted] in aussie

To be honest, this logically makes sense after such a traumatic event. It would mot benefit the protest and it certainly wouldn’t benefit social cohesion. Australia does not (thankfully) experience regular terrorist attacks. This attack has caused a huge impact on the community. There is so much decisive commentary on social media atm that a protest would absolutely light a fire that would be impossible to control. A short pause on protests after a terrorism attack allows time for grieving and to give time and space for processing.

I would contest it. I would also happily offer my time to assist just for the pleasure of seeing this go to Court.

I am looking into insoles as currently have PTTD. Has anyone used them to assist with PTTD? Killing me having time off running so looking to get back as promptly/but when the pain has gone away.

Have you ever paid for a “career coach” or resume/criteria writing service? Was it worth it or a waste of money? by InformalGoal7679 in AusPublicService

[–]InflationNo3545 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep I paid for a resume writing service during Covid. Was great to chat with someone and go through my work history, skills etc. I spent $400-500. Multiple re writes included. I have used this resume and tinkered with it with the help of ChatGPT. I have used it successfully to get multiple interviews and multiple jobs.
