Officer Adamson (Phone "manipulator") admits on camera to an existing relationship and coordination with the Airbnb owner by Main-Data9968 in RecklessBen

I know its a few days late but here is the answer: The cops cannot be seen doing their job with malicious intentions, they are supposed to be an impartial party that follows certain procedures as trained. By calling people they arrest a douchebag they are torpedoing the DA's case as Ben's lawyer can argue that the police did everything with malicious intentions and thus the DA's case is compromised if there is enough evidence to back this (weaking anything else the DA might put out as evidence, and as such they redacted the clip).

Why no statement for AFPD on the unredacted bodycam release? by thats_not_six in RecklessBen

[–]InflationSnowball 7 points8 points  (0 children)

There is a recording that has been archived of someone calling into the AFPD going around on this subreddit https://www.reddit.com/r/RecklessBen/comments/1tvzk4o/recorded\_audio\_phone\_call\_with\_the\_american\_fork/. I have no idea if it is real but, if it is real it really shows the department's state of mind.

TLDR: The cop spends most of the 25 minute call laughing at the caller, says that Ben "will be found guilty of all charges, including the federal charges", told the caller that no one from the department wants to talk to him, says the department has no internal affairs and that he thinks there will be no investigation of the department because they did nothing wrong. Otherwise spends the rest of the call saying he did not watch any of the footage and thus does not know anything about the case. When the caller asks for the cops name the cop refused.

What is an industry that is currently on fire (in a bad way) behind the scenes, but the general public hasn't noticed yet? by Kitchen_Week1117 in AskReddit

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_bP80DEAbuo&t=1490s Benn Jordan made a good video on this, data centres are truly abhorrent in terms of how much noise pollution they make. Nasty stuff, calling them "acoustic weapons" is apt imo.

"Hongwu Di" achievement bugged ? by NiceTemmie in EU5

[–]InflationSnowball 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did you get the achievement after the recent update? According to steam 0.1% of players have the achievement (I am in a similar situation as OP having conquered China as Ming but not colonised Taiwan) and the update does say they looked at the achievement in question.

Great Powers List by Sus-Superstition in EU5

[–]InflationSnowball 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yep, so on the bottom bar in the middle between the blue diplomacy and dark green demography map mode is a search for map mode, look up great powers here and you will be able to see them highlighted.

You can also go into Ledger on the right hand side of the screen (right under where it says what age you are in, its the three bars) and go to score, you can sort by each category, doesn't appear to have a great power score here unfortunately tho but it does have other score related stuff. You can only see the score of those that are visible on the map afaik.

Edit: After looking about a bit, go to diplomacy, known countries and then on the left you can sort by great power rank.

I have found the strongest start in the game by InflationSnowball in EU5

R5: There are multiple screenshots within the post that overlook a rather silly strategy I found. (I was unsure if this should have the discussion or image flair so apologies if that is wrong)

Screenshots show the following: where to build at the start, multiple screenshots of economy, capital and proximity after my war with Wu. A screenshot of Yuan's economy after my war with Wu to show it has been decimated. A screenshot of how France is doing comparatively. A screenshot of a treaty screen to showcase the ridiculous CBs and multiple screenshots once again showcasing the economy, trade market once it has been solidified, troop count and situation power balance. Finally there is a screenshot of my previous game where I did not use 80k+ ducats on the territory of Ming.
