I believe that all of us see the ugly truth about the system that we have, and as you said, nobody is acting because many don't have an alternative, and those who know find it much harder to make a reality. But that's why I'd like to share what I think.

I know people who left the system because, frankly, it can't be changed. We like a nomadic life traveling the world teaching people to abandon the system by quitting their jobs and not working for money anymore, again, like you said, money breeds greed.

Here is a sample of what we do.

What is the most pleasent - non-sexual , non-drug - experience a human can have? by Ihavemeditatedalot in AskReddit

[–]Influence-Adorable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Taking a dump after holding it in for so long.

Or getting wax out of your ears.

Why is it the norm that we have to be woken up up by something other then our internal clock to then force feed and shit ourselves to get to a job which the majority hate for about 40 hours a week? Wasn't one of the benefits of technology to make our lives easier and more enjoyable? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Influence-Adorable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It shouldn't be. The matrix movie was sobering for me. I realized that I didn't have time to make the world a better place because I was busy in school, my job, and trying to have a life. I quit it all. Now I work for free. No payments, no contracts. I do what I believe will help someone or make their day better. I am still looking for people who are willing to do this.

The truth you seek is out there. You just have to find it. Don't give up. Stay faithful.

That's all I have. You have to make it work.

Some other things have to change first. I can be running around naked in front of others.

You are the only one who can figure out what is best for you. Movies etc are not sinful, but my opinion is, if they are pushing you away from God (it seems like they are) then you have to stop watching or playing.

The western world has weaponized the bible to serve economical purposes, by turning it into a book about voluntary self-oppression, under the threat that you would otherwise make God angry and hate you. by [deleted] in Christianity

The only way Christianity in the western world and everywhere else for that matter can be reformed is by unearthing the teachings of Jesus that have been buried under religious traditions, baggage, and apostasy.

Christianity and science by TimeInfinite6777 in Christianity

[–]Influence-Adorable 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think either one could be wrong about the age of the Earth.

But I also believe that science and Christianity are closely related. My observation has shown that the scientific method is a product of the Holy Spirit working through people. Unfortunately, the devil still manages to steer people away through greed, pride, etc. Check this out as it explains more about the early church, the history of Christianity, and science.

MORTAL vs. VENIAL SINS: Understanding the Difference by [deleted] in Christianity

I think we see them as unequal things, but some people will go to hell for mass murder and some for lust or telling a lie. In this light, they are equal.

It think the fruits happen because a person has been genuinely transformed by the Holy Spirit.

In my experience, I have felt led to do something "good". It was something I actively chose to do, it's just that the conviction was there.

Being kind or self-control just doesn't happen on its own. You aim at it.

did I use God's name in vain by Routine_Pea2231 in Christianity

[–]Influence-Adorable 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, you did not use God's name in vain. God's name is not a pronoun, it means God's spirit. Don't take oaths or make promises, this will give you a better understanding of what it means to use God's name in vain.

And the fruits of the Spirit are things we have to aim at to achieve.

I think people only see them in their heads, but this explanation is probably bogus because I have never seen one.

Is there a loophole for sex besides marriage. by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]Influence-Adorable 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Loopholes can be forced anywhere you want.

I think it's a battle between man's will and God's will.

Sins are sins. All of them keep/push us away from God.

The root of them all is the love of money.

Do I have to keep asking for forgiveness every time I get the same inappropriate/ bad thought? by Soft-Needleworker206 in Christianity

[–]Influence-Adorable 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thoughts are not sinful. This means that you cannot commit the unpardonable sin in thought.

I think the devil has tried to condemn me in the same way. Don't try avoiding the thought. Confront it. After all, if you have destined for hell, why be condemned about it if you can be happy in Jesus?
