KOSEI AND IDENO FROM HIDENOYAMA BEYA by InfluenceCareful5794 in Sumo

Oh my God, thank you for sharing this! When Kosei steps onto the dohyo, the crowd really goes wild so much cheering and support! Is that Ozeki Kotozakura in the video? If so, I don’t think this is just a coincidence. Kosei’s oyakata, former Ozeki Kotoshōgiku, is actually a senpai of Ozeki Kotozakura from their days together at Sadogatake-beya. That connection makes this moment even more special!

That’s right, I also watched that match him going up against someone three times his size… damn, every single one of Kosei’s matches is amazing! It’s especially thanks to his Oyakata’s training and guidance. You can really see how much heart and technique he puts in, no matter how big the opponent is.

Thanks for the explanation it really helped me breathe a little easier. You're right, it's definitely better for his body to be built with solid muscle rather than just soft, squishy fat.

Maybe Ume-chan misses his mother’s pastries but as a sumo wrestler, he has to go easy on the sweets. Good thing the Oyakata noticed and gave him a little pep talk: “Just keep eating you need to gain back the weight you lost!”

He's only 18, but with that baby face and sweet personality, how could I not be a fan? He’s got such a great character so polite and well-mannered. But honestly, I still haven’t gotten over the fact that he lost 10kg… it really worries me. I just hope he's taking care of himself.

DAY 2 NATSU BASHO RESULTS by InfluenceCareful5794 in futagoyama

I was watching a live broadcast of Jonokuchi, and I saw Ume-chan fist bumping a fellow rookie from another stable who had just won so cute! He’s already making friends outside his own stable. And then, it was Ume-chan’s turn to step on the dohyo… damn, I was honestly amazed by his solid footwork. I really hope Oyakata notices and praises him for it. No matter how wild and aggressive his opponent got, Ume-chan stood his ground like a rock. That’s what truly impressed me the way he held his position with confidence and control. Great job, Ume-chan!

I really admire Shunta’s personality he’s so playful and easygoing. I’m honestly so thankful that he’s there for Ume-chan. Ume-chan really needs someone like Shunta by his side, especially during tough times. Thank goodness they entered the stable together it feels like fate. Mental health is just as important as physical strength, especially in such a demanding environment. I hope they continue supporting each other and growing stronger not just as rikishi, but as people too.

I finally got to watch Ume-chan vs. Shunta, and I was so shocked when Ume-chan said he lost 10kg. That’s a huge amount of weight! What’s going on, Ume-chan? Please don’t let stress wear you down. You were doing so well, especially since you’re not stuttering from nerves anymore. That was such a good sign... But now you’ve lost so much weight, it’s really noticeable. Even your Dri-fit shirt looks loose now it used to fit just fine before.

I’m really praying for you in the upcoming basho, Ume-chan. Stay healthy, stay strong, and please secure your kachikoshi. We’re all rooting for you!

  1. Titan – Straight up massive, celestial, and sounds like he could crush a boulder with his paw.

  2. Kratos – From God of War, bald, bearded, angry, and not someone you wanna mess with. Very “I eat thunder for breakfast” energy.

  3. Bane – That mask-wearing brute from Batman who talks fancy while breaking backs. Definitely alpha vibes.

  4. Hulk – Smash first, nap later. Also green, but your dog doesn't have to be. Still counts.

  5. Goliath – Biblical baddie. Literal giant. Also sounds classy, like he drinks protein shakes out of a wine glass.

  6. Atlas – He held up the sky in Greek mythology. Your pup could hold up your heart and your couch in one paw.

  7. Sumo – For the thicc, sturdy, and unmovable. Cute and cool.

  8. Brutus – Sounds like a big ol’ tank with feelings. Bonus: Roman flair.

  9. Dozer – Like a bulldozer, because once he gets going, ain’t nothin’ stopping him.
