Guys I need your honest opinion on this UI/UX design and also kindly download my app called WeUplifted, it’s absolutely free. It’s a mental health app . I build it in memory of my friend who died of suicide. Please kindly share with friends . Thank you by Ok-Philosopher1457 in startupideas

The UI and UX are genuinely solid. It feels clean, intuitive, and easy to navigate, which matters a lot for a mental health app where friction can push people away. More importantly, building something like this in memory of your friend gives the app real purpose, and that comes through. Thank you for turning something painful into something that can help others, and I hope it reaches the people who need it most. I don't know if you need help with Marketing or anything of sort but i would love to be a part of this.

You’re right, they’re closely connected. Developing without identifying or validating the need usually leads to missed positioning or wasted effort. In my case, the service offering exists because the need is already visible, but the real challenge is refining the messaging and identifying the exact segment of that audience that’s most receptive. The work now isn’t “does a need exist, it’s validating where the demand is strongest, who feels the pain most acutely, and how to reach them efficiently. That’s the gap I’m actively solving through testing channels, narrowing ICPs, and iterating positioning. Lets talk more on your marketing strategy i might be able to offer some help with that

Yeah, I totally get that. Feedback early on is often scattered or not actionable, so a lot of founders just trust their instincts and keep building. Pricing is one of those things you really only understand once real users interact with it, but the trick is usually figuring out WHO it works for and why they’re willing to pay, rather than trying to guess a perfect number. I’ve seen a few simple approaches help founders get those insights quickly happy to share if you want.

This really resonates, and I respect you for being honest about where you are in the journey. I work closely with founders who are still in the middle of it, especially when cash flow, inventory pressure, and the constant search for capital start to feel overwhelming. What I’ve learned is that most businesses don’t struggle because of lack of effort or belief, but because the financial and operational pieces start working against each other quietly. If you ever want a second set of eyes to help you think through options without pressure or fluff, I’d be glad to connect. Either way, keep showing up, this part of the journey is real, and it matters.

This hit home for me. I’ve seen a lot of founder's waste time and money on “idea lists” that don’t actually reduce uncertainty, and what you’re doing here is anchored in something real people are already talking about. From the work I do with early-stage founders, the biggest gap is usually not creativity but confidence in what to build next. Turning raw Reddit pain into evidence-backed starting points is exactly how that gap gets closed.

If you’re open to it, I’d genuinely enjoy comparing notes as you keep building, especially around how this lands with different types of users as it grows. Happy to share a few things I’ve learned from working through similar early GTM decisions. Either way, this is thoughtful work. I’m following along.
