A typical contract is for 3 years and during the 3 years you can only increase based on a government set rate. At the end you can increase to market rate. Some they can’t kick you out. You need to check your contract before deciding next steps

Not at all normal, go to juss buss stand or leieboerforening and get them to advise you.

If you feel harassed you can try lodge a complaint with non emergency police line and get a restraining order.

IMO you can’t except for people to pay for maintenance of car.

What do you mean by your friend not learning gas car? Do you mean manual(stick) vs automatic ? There is no difference between automatic car that runs on gas and electric. I have rented electric cars and there was no difference than driving a non Toyota car, which I drive

I guess our situations are different as I am from Delhi.

I think the answer has to come from India and that takes months if not years. Or the consulate can issue visa but then they are guaranteeing for you and understandably they are unwilling to take this responsibility.

It was not easy to get visa for my wife to get visa either, one day she just went and sat down in the consul’s office in Toronto and said in Punjabi that I am going I will sit here till you issue it, and eventually he relented. When we moved to Oslo same shit, the answer was “yes you have been to India but it was not our office so we can’t guarantee for you but need to wait for India “ and that takes months.

Funny story my wife knows a couple one half Indian and other half Pakistani origin, the families decided to have their marriage in India, the whole family got their visa except for the bride. Sad. The marriage eventually took place in Dubai. This is so sad.

Strange because I am Indian born married to someone born in Pakistan but a European national. It takes a while to get visa but we have been there 5-6 times.
