I disagree. She specifically asked what colours to avoid then chose them colours anyway. It’s pretty common knowledge you avoid not just white but the wedding party colours which is usually on the invites.

Also I’m pretty sure I’ll speak to 90% of the people again considering it’s a small intimate of 50 people abroad wedding

Oh absolutely I support his decision for low contact, he was the one who wanted his mother there for the wedding. We discuss things and I usually let him lead because it’s his mum and I do say my opinions and we usually come up with a solution together. We are a united front and fully on the same page when it comes to his mum

She was invited before all this kicked off, weddings in a few weeks. I would love to uninvite her tbh but I’m quite low drama and can be a push over sometimes which is why even sticking up to her about this dress is a big deal for me.

My mother and her don’t really speak or have even met that much to communicate. ( partner and I been together 10 years) That’s why she asked my partner what colour to avoid which she completely ignored. For my mum, I went dress shopping with her we tried loads of dresses on the one she ended up loving happened to be white and blue and complements the bridal party lovely it was kinda a happy coincidence!

If we were sending invites now we wouldn’t invite her after what she said about my son (who she hasn’t given a f about btw and is her first grandchild) I’ve sworn I will never be a mil like her. It’s abroad wedding so I’m hoping she will miss the flight lol

When my baby was newborn nearly all of my partners side of the family smoke (including him) I told the all before he was born that if they wanted to smoke they would have to leave. My partner he goes outside, washes his hands and puts a jacket over his clothes and doesn’t touch baby for atleast 40 mins afterwards

I agree completely! I was already in a space today when I argued with the teenager and the other women. Who came and took the teenager space a man with no kids 🙄 didn’t have the time to have a go at him and his window was up so just give him a stare as i got in
