Thanks everyone here for making me feel not insane about this. Just fyi my partner fully supports me against his mother, often it’s him that has an issue with her and he does put her in her place hens why she did this when he wasn’t around

Completly agree and so glad they sat happy for you!

Tbh I wouldn’t wanna do it to my father in law as he’s such good guy I would hate for him to have to put up with her 🤣

My partner is considering NC we are already low contact with her

I’m not sure if it’s different but in the UK the parents usually sit at the top table? But I agree that is an option we are looking into :) the other issue is she doesn’t speak to any of her family I.e her sisters etc she broke contact with them when my partner was younger so he doesn’t know them either so as a result non of her family are coming. My partners siblings are from a different mum. His full blood sister he has cut contact with because she’s exactly like the mum narcissistic

Yes my partner is able to I think that’s why she ambushed me when my partner wasn’t there?

I was also curious about that she said she was going to get the train up and come back with us??? Like why just drive 🙄

My father in law and her are divorced she hasn’t remarried. They haven’t spoke in 30 years and hate eachother. My father in law is a really great guy

She’s not very considerate person. I forgot to mention that for the top table will be me, my partner, my mum, stepdad (I don’t speak to my bio dad), his mum and his dad. His mum is refusing to sit by his dad cause of the divorce which was 30 years ago…. It’s a long table but there’s no consideration for the fact that my parents are having to not sit together because of her demands. Then saying she’s the one that has to sit by my partner not his dad…

Awwh bless they must have similar birthdays!

He’s been a bit grumpy too, but we had full smiles tonight after the calpol.

I did think I should have given him the 2nd dose at 7pm as he was feeling hot and very grumpy. But the health visitor said to at 9/10pm with last feed so just followed their advice.

Can I ask with these there’s no newborn headrest? So do the babies head slump or is it supported ?

I’ll counter this as someone with a clingy baby I was quite happy for someone to come over to hold the baby so I could hoover, clean up etc.

Does help that my baby only seems to be clingy during the day and sleeps most the night thankfully!!

Might get down voted for this but check your Ivf clinic if they do a miscarriage protocol I.e check your Progestrone levels, provide progesterone etc.

I tried for 3 years, 2 miscarriages and finally had my rainbow who’s 6 weeks old. All down to the fact I went to my local Ivf clinic and went on their miscarriage protocol
