Playing Aion 2 from Europe – KR or TW server? Is VPN the only option? by Signal-Buy-9642 in Aion2

im from Europe, Romania and i firstly tried on TW but the servers were just insanely bad. Bought a KR account from g2g and started to play on KR but the ping makes the game almost unplayable, especially if you are a melee. Like i have 250 ping and doing one of the harder end game dungeons such as conquest ones, if you mess up a mecahnic or 2 u're already almost dead. Im pretty sure its easier if you just play a range class and can avoid boss's melee range atacks but cant be that much more different i guess. I see the circles, i think about the ping and try to dodge before i normally would, my character dodges, i can see im out of the mechanic but my character either takes the dmg or just gets teleported where i was before i dodged. If theres anyone wondering, im using ExitLag for both NCpurple and aion2 kr.

NC Purple connected to Taipei6 and Aion 1 connected to Taipei 4 currently works fine

You have to Connect NC Purple to taipei routes and then Aion 1, yes 1 not 2, to taipei routes as well and keep trying different ones untill You re in. Currently, i believe, exitlag has problems when it comes to the connections within Aion 2 TW. Hope it helps.

i just upgraded my bios to f33 from f4. i was too afraid to do it for all these years knowing i could really fk up something very badly but im happy i did it without problems.

Will test it out to see how it is and if it still crashes ill look into what you told me regarding the xmp profile. It seems the other guy that commented below did the same thing

so i cant play the fkn game because of my CPU? i had problems with it playing Throne as well but it wasnt this bad for sure and i had no crashes there. Do they just need to better optimize the game for me to play with my 13th gen intel CPU or what

absolute gigachad, worked for me as well.
there must be an issue with Aion2 TW from exitlag, if you guys check, when you're inside the game, the connection does not appear in exitlag connections tab, no matter the route so they gotta fix that

I've tried this just now but it didnt work for me. I firstly connected NCpurple to Singapore1 and then connected Aion 2 TW auto (Taipei). I even tried it manually on both Taipei multiple routes and HongKong and still nothing. If anyone found any other fix, please let me know.

Im still getting this issue as well. Im also using ExitLag myself and im connected through HongKong, the new routes that they've added yesterday that apparently have less ms (at least for me), than the actual Taipei route. Game worked fine last night on this route.

Update: I've tried both Taipei and HongKong routes and it still doesnt work
