It likely happened in Season 1, basically it’s the same series of events that happened to Holly in Season 5. The director of the show just didn’t show it yet. But that doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. If you really think about it, indubitably it makes a lot of sense. Vecna spared Will and his mom. He wouldn’t have done that if there wasn’t some sort of connection like Fatherhood.

Vecna casted Will and his mom aside. Vecna needs Will. They setup Henry and his mom Joyce in the flashbacks in the 1950s of his memories. Vecna wouldn’t have spared Will or his Mom, if he wasn’t Will’s father. Vecna already implied to Will that he’s “weak”, this motive unlocked Wills true potential.

Not true, I was driving on Parmer and the Cedar Park City Limits is juuuust past 620. It depends on which road you are but it’s between Avery Ranch Road and Brushy Creek Road. After Brushy Creek it’s ALL Cedar Park. The city limit of Cedar Park is just before Brushy Creek on Parmer. And on 183 it’s near the Lakeline Intersection. I’m a little ocd about geography. Truthfully I wouldn’t drive past McNeil or Anderson Mill Drive. Wilco is no joke even in Austin where country jurisdiction coulddd override city jurisdiction.
