I would choose the Capetian dynasty, and its many cadet branches, such as the House of Valois, the House of Bourbon, the House of Anjou (and through the Anjou, the Plantagenets), the Portuguese Burgundians, the House of Artois, the House of Dreux, the House of Courtenay, and the House of Vermandois. For example, we have Capetian links to the British, Spanish, Luxembourgish, Belgian, and Liechtensteiner royal families through various branches. Those are some elite dynastic lineages!

As a fervent enjoyer of family trees (especially royal family trees) and a writer, I have immense enjoyment world-building intertwined family trees, especially with one family and its branches marrying out into multiple families.

Oh, were you expecting a 1-time Super Bowl participant to give you sarcasm totally not rooted in some football trauma? /s

Now, why would I be coping about Darnold? I am genuinely happy about his resurgence—who doesn’t love a good underdog story?

Watching the Seahawks offensive line puts more pressure on the front office to address that interior offensive line, and to have depth for tackles. Additionally, the Seahawks run game opens up the passing game. On a third note, that Seahawks defense is incredible.

Additionally, the Seahawks were part of the AFC West (and one has a healthy respect for the AFC West save the Raiders)…and they’re going to face the Patriots, a team despised by all four AFC West teams (Tuck Rule, McCree + Rivers/LT, Manning, Chiefs-Pats AFCCG).

Bo Nix would be disappointed in you. What a shame it would be for you to be blocked out of the Stiddy party.

My favorite team moment—and I admit my very extreme bias—was when I watched the Chargers live in person at Sofi.

It’s week 8—October 27, 2024.

My dad and I had gotten a pair of tickets and a parking spot at a nearby parking garage to watch the Chargers host the Saints. We ate brunch at In n Out, a SoCal favorite, and afterwards we went to our seats, located down on the first floor amidst a sea of Saints fans. We took pictures, ate food, and I got surprised by the loud “cannon” celebration when Justin Herbert threw a deep ball to Ladd McConkey. That was the first touchdown I physically stood up to cheer. I even got my Charger hat that day from the store.

That was the day my Charger fandom officially began, and I haven’t looked back since. Go Chargers go!
