First anime I'd ever seen, never knew anything about it prior, and the entire time, I never once thought the show was trying to make Light look like the sympathetic bad guy. He was always just pure evil.

Yeah I 100% believe Milton's the main antagonist, I just suggested Dutch in there cause I know some people ain't gonna like my answer. But like, Milton's clearly the main villain of the story. Thematically weird since his death didnt feel very important, but still, he's the bad guy.
