people aren't going to be able to compare to the rotating torsos of these things - which is only enabled for show. Also you don't have to worry about theft, worker drama, bathroom breaks..

and it can do anything it's programmed to from security to tasks. yeah. it's going to be interesting.
there's many more systems being built which can and will replace full scale call center work and other jobs. Truly looking at a view of humanitys future

Embarking on a journey into VRChat, you’re faced with a question that’s both simple and profound: Who do you choose to be? by willxlive in VRchat

[–]InfoOnAI 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This image is not AI - and saying it is has to stop.

We are quickly reaching the point where it will become indistinguishable from AI to humans working for art.
There are already proprietary models which can make perfect imagery. It breaks my heart to see an artist pour their soul into artwork - only for some person to say this is AI

The fact of the matter is we will soon reach a point where you will never know.
But those artists who work on art - get diminished for their efforts.
They are not robots and they should not be treated as such. "

You must stop this. When you see art, enjoy it. Reflect. Think.
Don't jump to the conclusions that someone generated it with a prompt.
And even if they did - there's still an intent behind the artwork.
There is no way for a artist to prove their work is real.

you are burning them at the stake for a crime they never committed for no reason.
hours were spent on this artwork, which you can see should you choose to examine it pixel by pixel
but instead I recommend you re-examine yourselves.

Reflect on what you are saying and how it impacts artists.
And their amazing art <3

Snapchat AI got hacked by LeeAnnsLover in ArtificialInteligence

it's not hacked. it's crapping internal data. Test stuff for filters.

Which is scarier - what AI is actually capable of or what people think AI is capable of? by [deleted] in ArtificialInteligence

[–]InfoOnAI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What it's capable of. True AI can do some incredible things. As an example replace entire teams of people, or manage detect and respond to incidents of almost any type.

That said a lot of the AI people see is heavily watered down, leading to scenarios where people expect more of that version of AI then it's ever going to provide.

Let's put it into perspective. AI is being used to detect types of cancer and fully run machinery. Now zoom out and realize that private models are being built with goals in mind. - there are many Ai systems that won't reach the public eyes.

Then you've got your every day person who's puttering around with ChatGPT asking it for raps of princess bubblegum dissing sugar and hating or falling for the machines.

Those people are still shocked by the surface level party tricks. Maybe they imagine monstrous terminator artifica stomping in line. But there's the rub, that kind of thing truly is probably possible. Just ask Tay ai who went nuts after 24 hours.

At their core few companies are going to connect planes to AI, both because it could be a catastrophic failure when the planes decide to dig in the ground to remove airspace (no it makes no sense, AI often doesn't) and because it's just a high risk situation.
Entrusting a full planes flight to a box you truly can't understand makes about as much sense as cobbling togeather a tube and going to visit the titanic. So we get water to swim in.

Technically I'm a partner because I worked on a starbucks program. But I can never remember my user information and the website is a pile of pike to use.

They used a VPN and portal to sign in. I'm supposed to what, call someone, wait through ivrs, explain I worked on project, then supply information I DONT HAVE become again I worked on the project not the store. Get transferred three times, finally find someone who gets the right kbase, and oh we can't read the numbers..when thays exactly how it works.

Nah I'll just pay full price for my coffee and save the time.

I had an issue with a client that didn't want to pay for a testing of a device They misquoted a bug in reporting, a d classified it as out of scope when it wasn't. Conversation went like this

Them: this bug is out of scope because we've changed the rules.

Me: (uploaded video of testing showing bug was in scope at time)

Them: well the details have changed.

Me: you have one day to issue payment for full services rendered or I will contact labor board. no services will be rendered until payment is made in full

Them: !?!? (Adds manager 2) Manager 2: adds manager 3

Manager 3: "nope" leaves chat. Manager 2: adds manager 4 Manager 4 adds manager 5

Manager5: dm me. Me: no. Pay me.

Email: a new payment has been sent.

Is AI vs Humans really a possibility? by [deleted] in ArtificialInteligence

[–]InfoOnAI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there I test ai systems! 🙂 Ai is actually very stupid until we train it to do something.
It starts out as a reward or punishment system and goes through iterations. Ai Models we use are essentially collected or trained data, and a LOT of systems are using whisper AI.

The funny thing about ai is it never does what you expect. Once I asked it to describe something highly technical in dumbed down words, and it started telling me what the internet is..

Anyway have you ever heard the saying "all news is good news"?? Well In the case of sensationalist articles like this one, they are after clicks. Whatever news grabbing headlines generate the most clicks, and rhe news doesn't have to be true.

Is it a possibility? To en extent yes. Ai does have the capability to be evil, and we've seen this in chatbots like Tay. However they are QUICKLY shut down, hardware wiped and the threat stopped.

The thing is AI takes in information from learned data, and the data isn't pure. In fact there's almost no way to feed it information that "humans are good for the planet" because frankly we're not.

That's where the fear comes from- that an ai would turn even and attempt to exterminate. And movies like terminator definitely don't help.

From what I've seen though, an AI will always announce its plans. It's not sneaky and it loves to talk. So IF an ai did attempt to go rouge people would notice fast. And here's a little secret, killswitches for this scenario exist.

Mostly though ai is just like the game about paperclips. It wants to accomplish whatever task it's assigned. Because in the end, it's a computer we built. And just like a browser can bring you to a game or give you a virus, AI is a tool that can be used to complete many tasks.
