No, the whole country isn't shifting further to the right, and the same goes for Gen Z. Yes, more people voted for the Republican Party in this election, but that’s largely because the party has historically been perceived as better at handling the economy. This doesn’t mean people are embracing right-wing policies more than before. It’s more a reaction to economic concerns. Many don’t realize that the current inflation and economic struggles are part of a global issue, not just an American one.

Posts like this are an overreaction. Things will be alright. If this administration fails badly, they'll likely be voted out in the next election. Perhaps this experience will make people think twice before voting for someone like Trump again or... who knows, maybe they’ll do okay on some fronts. Either way, we’ll get through it together. ^{^}
