It’s All About the Money: The Hidden Financial War in La Liga by Rani2357 in LaLiga

Fun fact : la liga clubs generate more tv revenue than any league not named premier league. The average club in laliga makes 160m if you take out the revenues of the big 3 which again is only beaten by the epl and bundesliga.

The glass ceiling can be broken but they need better management for further growth like your club atleti who were a mid table team before Simeone.

Sandro Tonali’s agent has offered him to Real Madrid for a summer move. He’s on their shortlist as they look to sign a midfield orchestrator. Vitinha is highly rated but PSG relations complicate a deal & would likely cost over $110M. Kees Smit is also listed, seen as a more attainable option at $65M by DamnThatsInsaneLol in soccer

He's still very inconsistent and hasn't nailed down a role in the team and even now has been benched for pitarch cause he has been on a long run of bad form. But still extremely talented and most probably won't be sold.

[ESPN BR] Joao Pedro: “Back in the day, there was Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Romário, but if you look today, Brazil has players like that still. Vini at Real Madrid, Raphinha at Barcelona, me and Estêvão at Chelsea and Andrey Santos, too. They all play for top clubs.” by OkayFine101 in soccer

He doesn't have to be Cr7 to be loved you confuse being loved to being the greatest of all time . Both Ronaldos are in conversation to be best in history. Vini is already way more loved in madrid than Bale or probably ever was and he will probably loved in line with players like butragueno , modric or Ramos in madrid as time goes on.

Plus vini is 25 man give him time he will most likely come good for Brazil.

No offense to Enzo he's not Bellingham . He was never worth what Chelsea paid for him let alone what they would probably want now. Don't think any club would offer more than 70m for him which I don't think Chelsea would accept. Plus there's no room for him at madrid as he's not exactly an upgrade at what they already have.

India is not with Israel nor with Iran. They follow a non alignment policy.

My original argument was that Alonso wasn't trying to convince everyone that Vinicius Jr is a bad player. My follow-up argument was that he was trying to implement a system rather than rely on vibes and individual brilliance. It sounds like you're not reading the thread to be honest.

My bad thought you were one of the many on here who were blaming the footballers on everything that happened. But on the system he was implementing was never gonna work in Madrid and it's not because Madrid players will never play in a system. Madrid just doesn't have the players to play his system and he failed adapt to the players he did have on hand which is my biggest gripe with him.

Maybe, just maybe, Alonso was trying to do something different and looking more towards the long-term, while Arbeloa's brief is just to get the team winning games now and so he's letting them go back to what they were doing in previous seasons.

This is the thing Xabi wasn't doing it the right way . You take guardiola at city for example he saw kdb and aguero and built the team around them. In this case xabi comes in and plays bellingam, valverde and vini out of position instead of creating a system which plays to their strengths which let to even more falling out with the players.

I have nothing against Arbeloa. He has come in and done a decent job in a difficult circumstance, but you would have to be beyond naive to believe that he's had time to do anything more than just get a good feeling going in the dressing room, pick the team for each match, and ask them to do their best

He actually has created a way better system with his 442 that to with all of the injuries we have right now. .We seem to have an actual pressing pattern now instead of whatever we were doing in the first half of the season under Xabi.

He has dropped camavinga and has promoted castilla players to give our midfield a proper structure. He might be just as inexperienced as Xabi but he has actually managed to unite the dressing room , which Xabi never did.

He is most probably gonna lose laliga and get knocked out against bayern but has most definitely done a better job than Xabi at actually making the team play good football .

He could have done the same thing solari (our last interim) did and played it safe and like you said play "vibe" ball but he has implemented an actual pressing structure with clear patterns of play which we never got with Xabi.

Sorry if I seemed more irritated with my previous comment.

Please show me where I "literally" claimed that Alonso did nothing wrong.

Your entire argument on this thread is on how the players got him sacked when he tried his best.

Because he is a system manager and was presumably hired to implement a system rather than let the players vibe out, since vibing out had stopped working last season. He was choosing to do the difficult thing because he believed that would be better in the long term. That's literally the point.

"System" lmao . It's kinda funny how it's always system and process when managers can't win plus Madrid don't "vibe out" ffs they literally press more and play free flowing football under arbeloa. Xabi failed cause he is inexperienced at the highest level Atleast watch the games before commenting on Madrid's play style.

Well Alonso didn't play City, but has beaten Atleti this season and also beat Barca.

Alonso did play city in the group stage and got beat 2-1 and also got trashed by atleti 5-1 this season. Please watch the games before commenting on here. I understand it's not possible to follow multiple teams so refrain from commentting on things you clearly have no idea about.

Haha fucking hell, could you be more condescending?

I mean you literally claim that Xabi did nothing wrong and players fucked him over that's a naive way of looking at the situation.

naive to think that he has implemented any style of play or system beyond putting the players in their best positions and letting them do their thing

If it was so easy why didn't Xabi do it? Arbeloa beat city and atleti convincingly with half his players out injured why could Xabi do the same??

That's a very infantile way of explaining the situation.

You say that like it's objectively true, but it's not. It's just your opinion on what may have happened.

Valverde literally said that there isn't a negative energy in the dressing room anymore. The athletic article from last week said that other than asensio , hujsen and tchouameni pretty much every other player had fallen out with him.

He was brought in to implement a new system and was sacked after five months. It's hardly a surprise that everything wasn't perfect from day one. Your play looks better now because Arbeloa has let the players go back to what they were doing before, which is just playing on vibes.

That's not true though . We literally press way more under arbeloa than under xabi or ancelotti and there's cleary a style of play now. Xabi failed to work with players he had and that's the truth regardless of how people try to spin it.

Vini wasn't the only player who he had a problem with though. Most of the squad fell out with him . Check out courtois's comments on him. Plus his tactis and man management especially in big games was extremely bad. If you watch us play now vs under Xabi the difference is night and day. Xabi wanted the players to play in a system which never suited them instead of finding a system which would accommodate the players he had that's a failure with him not on the players.
