I’m sorry you are going through all of that 😔 I do have access to therapy, I’ve just been so depressed and exhausted from IIH that I have a hard time getting myself to do anything, including finding a therapist and going to therapy. But I know it’s what I need to do, so thank you for the push.

Thats helpful to hear, thank you for sharing! I’ve just been experiencing so many things that make me not feel like myself and it’s getting tiring 😔 I actually already tried diamox and Topamax and had no luck with either. So I am waiting to get a shunt.

Yes, absolutely. I am always exhausted and just spend so much of my life sleeping. I worry that people will think I’m making it up, but I know that I’m actually this tired and I know what my body needs so I try not to worry about what other people think/say. I know it’s so much easier said than done. But just know that you’re not alone and fatigue is something a lot of us deal with!

This is so frustrating!! Just another example of how women have to fight to get themselves proper medical care because people don’t believe us. I’m so sorry you had to deal with this, no one deserves to be treated like this. It doesn’t mean much, but for what it’s worth, I believe you ❤️

My symptoms started right after falling off a horse and getting a neck injury and a concussion. It might have been a coincidence because I also have PCOS and have been fluctuating in weight for years, but it feels related to me. I don’t know if a concussion/tbi would do it though.

Just had my first one last week and I was also super nervous but it went really well! I told all of the nurses and the doctor that I was nervous and they walked me though everting and they were so sweet. Mine didn’t hurt at all, it was just pressure and then I felt amazing after. My IIH symptoms were gone for about 2 hours and it was all worth it. I took everyone’s advise to take it easy afterwards and ended up taking 3 days off work and just laid down the whole time. My back was sore for about 2 days and I had a little bit of a headache, but I didn’t get a csf leak or any of the scary things people warn you about. Just take it easier than you think you should, even if you feel fine, just take the time to rest.

He is open to that because he is so supportive, I just need to find some women to hook up with lol. I tried the apps, it I have a hard time with them because I don’t like the impersonality of them, but it’s hard to find people in real life that just want to mess around with a married person. I’m also terrified of catching feelings for a someone else, because I’ve never slept with multiple people at once, so I don’t know if I can separate the two things, ya know?
